"Got myself into a calorie overload but what the heck. I got the Juicy Lucy, poutine and salted caramel shake. The bun was very good, so good that it almost overpowered everything else on the burger. So that was my only complaint, while the thing did have a good flavour, it felt almost more like eating a sandwich because the burger patty was small and kind of got lost with the rest of it. The poutine and gravy was very good, the fries had a good crisp. The shake was also very tasty and was sad when it was over but my waistline had had enough anyway. The service was very good but it was late afternoon and pretty quiet. Cool vibe and decor. After tip was like $40…needless to say I was full until the next day!"

"My friend took me here on Friday for lunch I had never heard of the place before.  When we arrived just before noon the place was packed  All tables were full and there was a line right to the door.  Good sign!  The place was new, very clean and the tables were separated by these metal mesh type dividers great ambiance for a fast food place. I was really impressed with the variety of types of poutine you can get and the prices were better than the other popular poutine place in town.     Lots of different, fresh toppings to choose from.    Here's their menu:   I had the Prime Beef Poutine with carmelized onions and the red wine peppercorn sauce.  It was delicious!  The red wine peppercorn sauce was so rich and decadent.  Felt like I was having a very fancy lunch!  And there was a very generous amount of prime beef provided.  It was very good and I will definitely return."

"Leave no Celtic pub untried is our motto. Great beer, great food and fast friendly service even when the place was packed before an Oilers game. The stuffed Yorkshire puddings are to die for, we both had burgers and don't skip the gravy with your fries that stuff was amazing. Best gravy I've had in a pub, tasted like homemade."

"I?m sad to see so many bad reviews for this location because my dinning experience was very different from the recent customers! Please read my review and consider giving this location a try afterwards. We visited this restaurant earlier this month andhad a blast! From the moment we walked in we could see the effort the owner and manager put in to renovate the space. Comparedto the last restaurant, they unitized the space very well to maximize comfortable seating. It was our first time there and wegot the four piece chicken combo and substituted fries with onion rings for $16.49. The chicken was juicy with a crunchyskin!?? The staff were also quick with our order and very friendly. I had a lovely chat with the manager (I think? where Isuggested them to put more spice into the chicken ???? and they recommended me to try the jalapeño poppers! Still not spicyenough for me but I appreciated our chat together. I would definitely visit them again and keep them in mind for Tuesdaysbecause of their $4.99 deal. See you soon guys, keep up the good work! ?????? (P.S. They are also offering ice cream cone andpop drink for $0.99 until the end of September only in Alberta!"

"I'm not crazy about fried chicken, I never have been. It's good don't get me wrong but I don't ever think of it as my go to meal when I'm hungry. This thinking is now changed since coming to Popeyes. I tried this spot last week, mainly to say I've tried it (with it being a US chain starting to expand into YEG). It was busy even at 1pm, waited in a short line and ordered their 2pc combo (which came with a drink, a side and a butter biscuit). The chicken we pre fried and stacked in large piles behind the cashiers which made me worried about the crispness and freshness. Upon my first bite my worried disappeared it was perfectly crispy and impossibly juicy. It had to be the juiciest fried chicken I've ever had. Great seasoning and even better when I dipped it in the buttermilk ranch sauce I purchased as well. The Cajun fries were good reminded me a bit of Arby's curly fries seasoning just not curly. The biscuit was buttery and flakey. All in all I was pleasantly surprised and now I totally understand why all the fuss about Popeyes in the US. Glad we have now two locations to grab this tasty chicken at!"

"The chicken was absolutely fabulous!!!!!! The chicken was marinated in buttermilk , or brined overnight, to eliminate that awful bloody that you experience from most Edmonton restaurants. I wish you would build a franchise on the southside when I return home from my current hospitalizatiion. The only MINOR complaiint is the salt used in the chicken and the honey biscuits could be reduced, yet the mashed potatoes were totally devoid of salt. Anyway, than you for such absolutely wonderful chicken. Im glad I got to finally try your restaurant"

"Good food and good service. I always go at a slow time, never dinner rush, so, my food always arrives promptly. The older waitress can be a little grouchy and always reiterates that refills cost extra, but honestly, she probably gets low-life university students and hipsters a lot, so it is understandable.... One day she had ordered herself food and we ordered the same thing. She gave it to us so we didn 't have to wait and that was supppppper nice of her. I recommend anything on the breakfast menu, especially the 'Neptunes Benedict '. The veggie wrap is also quite yummy."
