"I got the shrimp parm, mozzarella sticks, and for a coworker wings. None were good. All of the food was soggy, mozzarella sticks looked like the frozen ones from shop right, and the marinara sauce was like water. I wanted to like the food but was highly disappointed."

"Update from below (11/2/2022) It?s up and down depending on the server/manager. Had a NY Aged rib steak whatever you call that attached photo. The sauce when taking home clearly how many times I attempted to ask them I want the sauce that came with it and clearly they just wanna give whatever regular gravy they had? When it?s paid smh. "I wanted to try this place because I love Peruvian food and we don't have many choices here on staten island. I ordered the $25 family meal. It comes with large rice, beans, choice of maduros, Tostones and something with yuca. A whole chicken and I added an avocado salad. There was an agreement among my family that everything was good except for the beans. They were kidney beans and they were so hard. It was like they were not even cooked. And the gravy of the beans was like water . It was very disappointing because we didn't eat the rice w/o the beans so its like a paart of the meal was missing."

"Prices for fast food are out of control, paid 70 bucks for a 12 piece bucket meal, 8 nashville tenders, and a chicken sandwich which is insane. The spicy level is very low and the chicken and pricing is not as good as popeyes.I suggested walking roughly a block to the popeyes next to the stop and shop and eat better."

"Dinner at J's On The Bay! They recently went through a complete renovation with a revised menu that I was very excited to try. For a starter we have the mozzarella sticks. These are not only any ordinary frozen mozzerella sticks, they are homemade with lioni?s mozzarella and their own garlic bread crust, along with a side of vodka sauce. For entrees we got drunken dumplings that are ricotta gnocchi with vodka sauce, and the Carbonara Pasta. In addition, we also received mini-Foccacia-Brot-style pizzas. Everything was fantastic and I can't wait to try out more things from the new menu in the future."

"I was looking on yelp for a sandwich shop that had thin eggplant and the freshest chicken cutlets. I came across Ronnie's Sandwich Shoppe, scrolled through the photos and reviews, and decided this was the best place to order from. I'm not from Staten Island but occasionally house sit for family and we were hosting a party and I wanted a sandwich platter. The owner of Ronnie's was closed for a catering event the day I needed the sandwiches but decided to take my order anyway to help me out. The sandwiches were one of the best I've had and everything was so fresh! Prices were very reasonable.... I leave next week and I will definitely be ordering again before I go home."

"*This review is for Drag Bingo Brunch with Luscious Lola* If you haven't caught on to this fantastic trend at the Phunky Elephant Gastropub on Staten Island, you need to get your reservations and experience the Drag Bingo Brunch with Luscious Lola! First of all, the brunch is a great deal. $21.95 for brunch and two cocktails. The food is incredible! We had the mac'n cheese stuffed spring rolls (extra charge). More like the size of an egg roll, but crispy and thin like a spring roll, these babies are on a bed of sweet chili sauce and are divine. The chicken and waffles is uniquely served with a lovely southern gravy which contrasts the maple syrup perfectly. Caesar's Huevos are served on homemade tortilla chips and a delicious salsa verde gravy. Luscious Lola puts on an incredible show. She lip syncs, does costume changes, and interacts with the crowd in a respectful, but hysterical way. Bingo is a blast and every time O 69 is called, the entire bar gets shots of Fireball! It was called 3 times in 5 rounds of bingo. The bar was pumping smiles and cheers all around! We will absolutely go back to see Lola. They even have other events at the bar like live music and Game of Thrones trivia. Reservations are a must for bingo, and they fill up fast so plan ahead!"
