"Everything we ordered at Chicken Institute was flavorsome. And especially the fried chicken is crisp and juicy. The mash with gravy and brisket is all kinds of tasty. I was also into the corn with chipotle, which had a good spicy hit. Only the cucumber kimchi wasn't to my liking because it tasted more like cucumber in a chilli sauce as opposed to a kimchi. All in all, a decent casual spot for modern Korean fare.

"I am not one to typically leave scathing reviews of places but this place in my opinion should be avoided. Looked busy with locals for lunch on a Saturday and had a nice open setting with breeze flowing through and friendly staff. Thats where the...positives start and finish. Over priced drinks menu dollar tiny green juice was likely to be when considering the large ice cube in tiny glass. The steak sandwich left such a bad taste in my mouth I had to head up to Bourke St Bakery to get something else after two bites to remove the taste in my mouth. I’m not quite certain how they cooked it but it tasted and looked boiled (grey overdone meat). The pork Katsu which we we recommended to try if we’ve never dined there was worse than economy airline food. All I could taste was cheap packer bbq sauce. I don’t feel I’m harsh in thinking there should be a zero star rating. Sorry cafe Kentaro."

"Let me start with the excellent service but really its the food that i have come here for - expecting smoky spicy bursting with flavour dishes. Ordered the jerk mackerel - the fish flavour overwhelmed any taste of the jerk and the vegetable medly was 80% rice and the vegetables were boiled so had no flavour at $22 for the vegetarian dish i felt fleeced. Save your money and go elsewhere"

"Have been wanting to visit Kentaro since they opened and when they came out with this omurice rendition it was the final push I needed.<br>

Went all out and ordered a drink - it's my first time having a houjicha latte, but I've consumed houjicha before in the form of Kit Kats and soft serve ???? This houjicha latte was OK - the tea flavour was rather muted for my liking and perhaps not quite smooth enough. It comes unsweetened so you can add brown sugar to your discretion.<br>

The Kentaro style omurice ($18) consists of tomato fried rice with peas, bacon, cheese, wrapped in an omelette and ladled with dark miso mushroom gravy. The eggs are silky, with a salty bite from pieces of tasty cheese, and umami from the miso mushroom gravy. The miso gravy reminded me a lot of the black bean sauce used in jajangmyeon. That's not to say I didn't enjoy it - I certainly did - but I was just surprised that the flavour was not as unique as it sounded and in fact tasted very...

"Il Baretto is an exceptional jewel of the Sydney Restaurant. Last week I needed comfort food and ordered a spaghetti Bolognese was rich, luscious and incredibly delicious. This main followed a duck of the salmon carpaccio, which was so fresh and tender. The food prices are far below what you are charged elsewhere and allowed with BYO alcohol from the restaurant is a refreshingly cost-effective meal!"

"Our family visited this Dumpling Bar for lunch. On a Monday in school holidays we easily got a table. There are long share tables as well as a long bench under the window. The restaurant is part of the Royal Albert Hotel and you can bring drinks from the bar - we had the organic Tasmanian cider. The waiter was friendly and attentive. We ordered a selection of dumplings, as well as the salt and pepper squid (dish of the day!!) and chilli and prawn spring rolls. The food was fresh and tasty and came out quickly. Make sure you save room for desert. We had mystery desert dumplings which consisted of 6 different ice cream flavour dumplings - vanilla bean, mango, strawberry, chocolate, green tea and sesame matched with chocolate and caramel spring rolls with condensed milk dipping sauce. Yummy!!"

"Aurora the hotel has used a local bar (about 8 years ago) in which we have drinks, especially on the roof terrace, drinks during the happy hour would enjoy and have a jolly time. the problem is that it has not changed in 8 years. I recently went there and all the furniture seemed so old and dated. eating that was served, joked 15) seemed pretty average I can't help but think they had changed a few things, maybe it would be nicer."
