"Sunday lunch with visiting family. The food wasn’t as quite good as I remember from last year and our table of 3 seemed to be served exactly the same quantity of vegetables as an adjoining table of 2. Only one serving spoon for the vegetables really wasn’t sufficient. The service was ok but lacking in any friendliness or warmth. None of the waitresses even managed a smile at any point during our visit. We have dined twice in the past month and I’m not sure I will be rushing back."

"We have not eaten here for a while. Our Sunday lunch was excellent. Portions were incredibly generous. Staff were lovely. I had my elderly mother with us who sadly can be very difficult. The lovely lady serving us managed her really well!!! The homemade soup was gorgeous, and the roast dinners really, really good. Will definitely return."

"Went in just before Christmas and unfortunately for the business the restaurant wasn't very busy. The food that was ordered was tasty and nicely arranged and the service was friendly and prompt. The decor is really nicely done and spotlessly clean. The only criticism I would have is there are very few steak options but what they did have was very tasty and the prices were reasonable. "Dreadful service cold reception because we arrived early food delivered Luke warm and overcooked wene I enquired about the hour wait was informed a pre ordered large party had been served this I know as I was behind them ...all Thier food had been pre ordered and booked so you knew what time , how many and Thier requirements ...that should make it easier for the kitchen not harder ...no once we're asked if everything was ok no one said thankyou as we left and we had spent almost £50 in Thier ..my grandsons chicken noughats almost burnt my granddaughter's plastic mash potato plonked on her plate gravy like water ..and yes my background is food, .hospitality and frount and back of house ...I wanted to go elsewhere after our first encounter with whomever it was ...only wish I had of ....shame on you ,!!!
