"There on the Canada Day with my family and there were no tables on the terrace, but we are the only table in the interior. we ordered coffee and breakfast and it probably took at least 15 to 20 minutes for the coffee. almost an hour later our food was not yet in the table and we followed up and they said that there are other people who ordered before us and that there was only one person in the kitchen. so there is literally nothing they can do. we had a small child and we were extremely frustrated that they didn't even tell us that if we sat down, it would be this ridiculous waiting time. we asked ourselves about the bill and they still accused us of the full price for the expensive coffees that would have tasted better if I had made it home. will not come back and would not recommend."

"One of my favorites when you want eggs, toast and bacon. Lots of tables, service is fast and efficient. Prices are very reasonable. Parking is best in back look for laneway just north of restaurant on west side. Waffles, pancakes all on the menu. Not going to scorch your wallet like Cora's."

"I love this little place. They serve a nice selection of patties and jerk specialties that are filling and quite delicious. This was my first introduction to Jamaican food and I was quickly addicted. There is an area to sit down to eat. Nothing fancy...but a great place to fulfill your need for a beef patty or jerk chicken. There is a small grocery store attached which allows you to take their frozen patties home!"

"I frequently visit the Richmond Hill location but when I'm in Markham, I stop by here. The Markham location has a slightly different vibe than the others in the GTA because it is much smaller and calls for some minor changes. First and foremost, is the food. The wings are the best at All Star's and I usually go for the Lemon Pepper and Pandora's Box flavours when I'm there. If you aren't a wing person, there are ribs (of course), burgers, sandwiches, fries, fish & chips and others along those lines. The waiters are definitely working hard and especially when it gets busy on certain nights. Sometimes, we have to wait a while to get a table and other times, the place is deserted. The bathrooms and generally the whole restaurant is clean and there is good maintenance throughout but there is still a weird feel. The service is decent but needs some work. If you decide you want to visit on Friday or Saturday nights, or on a game night, make sure you reserve a table because it could get hectic in there. Generally, I think that the place needs a little renovation but you can't really blame them for the size since it's located in a plaza. Generally, I would say that any of the All Star's locations are worth stopping by but if you can, try driving a little further and go to the Richmond Hill location."

"Goat roti was very good! Passed the test. But had to deduct a star for the pasta salad. Not at all worth $5. Not that good. Was too dry. Needed to be more creamier and flavourful."
