"I got drawn into this place I was in old Kentish town and needed food asap. Was mainly drawn in by someone's vegan fish and chip review. Update- they do not have this anymore. They served a beet and quinoa burger now which is what i ordered. Chips super oily. And burger was very very bland. Prob only come if you're stuck for food. The venue is just a very loud sports pub. Unlikely to come back. Updated from previous review on 2021-09-18"

"I found this place online and thought I would go to the breakfast. a nice store in a great location. the staff was very friendly. the menu was modern, not only its traditional fat breakfast. halloumi and smash avocado was just beautiful. good portions. very fast. very clean. very reasonable."

"I have a mixed review on Daphne restaurant, my first impression on entering was how cosy and relaxed atmosphere there was, my friend and I opted for the two course set lunch menu. We ordered a starter each plus another starter to share together, well what a mistake that was it was the tiniest selection of dips I ever seen. So dissapointing my friends main course of Dolmades was a starter size, stuffed vine leaves with a salad drenched in a sharp vinaigrette sauce. But my Moussaka was delicious but again a small serving.... I was still hungry after the two courses! Overall nice tasty food, but portions sizes were too small"

"Convenient location near to British Museum. Home cooked Greek style food (which we had) and cakes (which looked good but we didn't try) long menu so there will be something for everyone. Cosy inside but lots of seating under parasols outside. Busy but efficient staff."

"Definitiw the best local fish and chips option. almost always very good. occasionally has a bit of a wobble, but never dips down decent the cod is good and broken and well fritted, and the chips are good chips the only grip is that the fish is made in Matzo's ballot instead of right 'battery, so it's a bit different than usual the staff is also very friendly sausage of nizza."
