"Spiro’s gyros is a fairly typical, simple Greek location on coronado island in san diego. with the usual tariff of gyros, souvlaki and others that I cannot remember and/or not spell, why should I give this place a 5-star rating? because this place is truly unique the entire package — good eating, fast service, cheap eating and fantastic view. I am not a Greek food conoisseur, so I will almost always order gyros every time I eat Greek dishes, and spiro really has some fabulous gyros. meat was tasty and plentiful, pita was not dried, sweet were fresh and cold, and it was just $5. really, I could not ask for more in a gyroscope. but what spiro really makes special is the view - it sits about 10 meters back from the harbour san diego, and it looks into the inner city of san diego. it is really a wonderful prospect, and I was blown away that Spiro’s not a premium in the pricing for her location. imo, one of the best values for picturesque restaurants I have ever been."

"This place is amazing. The pizza, oh, I was recommended, the cheese sticks of one of the employees there? and let me tell you I'm glad she told me about them because they literally hit more on the place, so the pizza with which the pizza itself was really good to begin. You must try this place at least once in your life. Really good stuff. Thanks for the food and service. Absolutely come back."

"This is the perfect place for a beautiful ocean view and Amazing food. We were seated on the patio at our exact reservation time. The staff was very friendly and our waiter Brett was one of the best I have had in a long time and actually made the meal perfectly matched with all of our specific tastes and requests! The salmon is some of the best I have ever had. The risotto and mocktails were also superb!! Thanks again Brett you rock!! Will def be back!"

"I will say, I love the food here. The Moussaka is possibly the best I've ever had! My issue with the place is that they seem to charge you extra for everything unnecessarily. If you want some feta on your fries, it's more. If you want some Tzatziki, it's more. I just don't like the principle of it."
