"The place was pretty dead when we went because it was super cold out so it seemed like no one was downtown livermore. We ordered dry rub wings and the tre porcellini neapolitan pizza. The wings were supposed to come as an appetizer and come before the pizza. We weren't sure why, but the wings came after the pizza. The wings were super good, we loved the dry rub dipped in ranch and the side of carrots and celery were a plus! The pizza wasn't that great. It was pretty greasy so it was soggy and the crust with the fake tasting sauce wasn't all that good. The service was mediocre. We kept having to ask for water which didn't make sense with how empty the restaurant was. It seemed like our waiter dropped the food off and walked away for good. Not sure I'd come back since it wasn't all that great."

"It's really hard to get a real Chicago style gyro west of the Mississippi. As a Chicago native, and grow up with fantastic beef and gyro sandwiches, I am very skeptical when people put that 'Chicago' label on food. But Wise Guys is the real deal. The Gyros are exactly what you would get in town and they are excellent! Jack, Escondido"

"Food was outstanding, but service was very slow. Dined outside but there was noise that sounded like a bus idling coming from the Old Mexico restaurant next door. I will go back to try other menu items because they looked so good."

"Best dogs in Livermore! But more than this place is just good. So in perspective, how good a place like this here is a fast story. I just came from New York (and was a hot dog type) I walked around and got some hot dogs. They were all amazing. The thing is that I came here and ordered my Cajun HotLink and it was still so good when I left. This place brings a quality that I do not expect from a business from Livermore. The onion rings are also amazing. Eat em' how they get out and they're going fast."
