"We had a nice dinner in this restaurant with a good athmosphere. The pizza that I had was excellent and the beer was good. All the staff was friendly and service fast in spite that the restaurant was right crowded."

"From the outside, Philoxenia looks rather bland, so we were surprised, when we came in and saw an amply decorated restaurant. There is a huge fireplace in the middle and many Greek sculptures and paintings scattered along the rooms.Even if it was early on a Saturday evening in the low season the room was packed, but the helpful waiter found a table for us. The menu is extensive with lots of meats, fishes and souffles.Even if it was so full we were served rather quickly.The saganaki cheese was different from how it was prepared when I was in Greece, but it was still good. However I found the price for this fried slice of chees a little steep at almost 8 Euro. Other options were more modestly priced.One of the dishes was listed twice on our bill, but this was corrected quickly upon my complaint."

"Man sitzt wirklich sehr schön, wenn man einen Platz draußen an der Wasserseite hat. Spontan für 2 Personen um 19:00 am Sonnabend kein Problem einen Tisch zu bekommen. Der Service war recht fix und alles sah ganz vernünftig aus. Allerdings waren die Vorspeisen nicht frisch sondern aus der Dose oder aus dem Glas (gefüllte Weinblätter waren trocken, Piperakia waren eingelegt und aufgebraten). Das Fleisch im Hauptgang war gut zubereitet, aber sehr würzig, alle Beilagen ebenso und das Tsatziki nichts Besonderes leider. Die Kräuterbutter für das Fleisch war noch tiefgefroren. Wenn man also auf Empfehlung das Restaurant besucht und mehr als nur touristenfreundlichen Standard erwartet, bleibt man enttäuscht."
