"The listing said they have milk free gelato at the time when I went there on 7/10/2020 as well as sorbet, but it turned out that only the sorbet is vegan. I was told they never have vegan gelato. I told the woman on the counter that the list is wrong. The business should know what it says and make sure it is accurate. I reported the mistake of happy cow in an update, as the business obviously does not watch. I got Sorbet and my friend got Gelato. I didn't know they would put a spoon in me automatically and I forgot to tell them I had my own reusable spoon. When she put the spoon in my cup, I forgot to tell her. I said I shouldn't be stuck in the cup of my bf and he can use mine. Then she left and gave him one. And claimed she didn't hear me when I told her what I said. She took him out and threw him away so that the spoon was was was wasted what I wanted to avoid. And if she threw one out, she should have taken it out of my business, he had my spoon on it with my sorbet. And since she didn't listen, I could have used her spoon. But their might have been slightly flushed and given to another customer without being careless. I hate them to throw it away when none of us touched it. The sorbet tasted decent, but seemed to be expensive for the regular cup at over $7. Updated by previous review on 2020-07-12"

"I've been to nearly every restaurant in Saratoga in the last three years...I finally came here last night and IMO this is the best. For food/ambiance/waitstaff I just loved it and can't wait for my next trip up in a month. Our waiter, Lawrence, was incredibly charming and set the tone for a fabulous evening. The shisito peppers...perfect and abundant! Our entrees just so wonderful and the dessert of coconut cream pie was the stuff dreams are made of. The Brook Tavern has it all going on and then some."

"Food and coffee is good. However, while making our food they didn't wear a mask over their face, making us uncomfortable in eating our food when we got home. Probably will not go back due to this concern. For those of you that do not mind this, it is a good spot and you will enjoy it."

"The food was excellent as always, however we still waited 15-20 minute's after our scheduled reservation to be seated. However, the hostess was not very friendly, to be seated finally and the waitress was more concerned with her table of 8 people then making sure we got our food or even refills we had to ask other waitresses for. It wasn't till we were just about done that she decided to fill our half full glasses of beverages that another waitress had to fill for us. It was like we didn't exist, or the woman was given to many tables with a bigger party if 8."

"This place is from the hook. If you are in Saratoga, go there today!!! The Sangria is simply amazing!!!!! So happy to be here again for Track Season. If you are a full-time resident, student or just a track person this place is a must to go when in the city. They were always a cornerstone of the city centre. The staff is great and they have fun all year round. Look at her."
