"A very sticks experience a meal, and a stipulation! On long distances, the house was found to be in the 10 local cafeteria recommended by the Mi's forest, as soon as Avian was able to reach the town to prepare a meal room for evening. There is a parking space opposite the cafeteria, which is likely to be less expensive to park, and today is more fortunate. The servicemen of the Dining Room are very well-informed, and we have two sets of meals and we have a very local character each. There is a large number of red liquors in the restaurant, which, due to the need for a car, cannot be consumed at this time and will have to be experienced again."

"I had a delicious set menu in this small, unpretentious restaurant. The balance between price and the quality of the food was excellent and we were served by the owner, who was so warm and accommodating, making sure that we were all happy with our meals. We were made to feel so welcome and the food was good to boot. It was in a lovely location right by the old city walls. As it was winter we sat indoors, but outside there was a terrace for warmer weather. I would certainly recommend it and will definitely go back!"

"We came here twice which was a MISTAKE. First time was in the evening for supper the food was fine but it was impossible to get served and were ignored by waiters a few times. To be fair, on this evening a couple of the waiters seemed well trained and were friendly. However breakfast in the morning, no one came to seat us, when we finally were seated we were ignored and they went about taking orders from people who had sat down after us. They never gave us a menu and when we asked to order they were just rude. Put me in a bad mood. The waitress also seemed to be unaware of what was on the menu and acted annoyed when we asked for what was advertised. As we are sitting here there are 9 tables which still have left over plates and food on not being cleared since we sat down."

"La Rotisserie is a tiny shop in a little square 5 minutes ' walk east of the central square, but what a boon to those visiting Avignon who have a kitchenette or apartment. La Rotisserie 's owners roast meats and potatoes, and steam vegetables every day (Mon. Fri, 0930 1400, 1700 1930; Sat. Sun. 0930 1330) for you to take home and enjoy. Let me emphasize that this isn 't take out as it 's normally understood – they prepare really nice meals from first quality ingredients roast lamb, beef, chicken and whatever else the market has going, plus staples like lasagna for you to take home and enjoy. It 's like having a really nice restaurant meal at a fraction of the price. We had the lamb with potatoes and green beans one night, the chicken another and if we 'd stayed longer, we 'd have gone more often. The owners are very nice, very helpful and speak excellent English. There is a Carrefour small supermarket next door with wine, beer, milk, eggs, cereal, etc. that you are likely to want for an apt. stay"

"We came for a meal during our trip. We had 28 people. We were served quickly. We started with bread. Our entree was a veal stuffed tomato rice, with green beans. It was very good. The waiter was animated, personable, and fun. He was joking with the kids in his broken English and their broken French. He definitely made us feel welcome and happy. If I'm ever in Avingnon again, I'll go back."
