"Ordered the Family kit of Brisket Chicken w/3 sides, to feed 3-4 people they said. Thoroughly disappointed in portion size for $60. Barely enough brisket for 2 people, 3/4 lbs. Lb price $22. 1 whole chicken ala cart price $15 roughly. Had to speak with a manager when got home to inform of my dissatisfaction. Ordered lean cut and got mixed with fat. He made up the next day by supplying a 3/4 lb replacement. But I WILL NEVER ORDER A FAMILY PACK AGAIN. HORRIBLE VALUE!! I informed the person attending us I would be giving this honest review. He agreed and did not the portions equaled the price but as he stated he had no control over that. It was way above him on those decisions."

"Food and service was phenomenal!! The guacamole was so good. Could definitely say it's fresh. My wife and I got both Chimichanga she got chickenfajita and my mother-in-law and I got both ground beef Chimichanga. They were so tasteful and fried to a perfect crab. Our son got Fajitas and he said Steak was so good. It was great and we will definitely be back... hopefully soon!"

"First off I LOVE Golden Corral restaurants. The Garland Texas GC was a HUGE disappointment. First the good. One of the biggest buffet selections of any GC. The food was decent. Now the bad which is a deal killer for myself my family. The place was badly ran down. The restrooms in both the mens womens were disgusting!!!!! Very unsanitary lacking paper towels soap. The plates were filthy. Everyone had to dig dig to find plates that were clean. Also, the steak guy was incredibly rude to my family and everyone we witnessed him interacting with. He would not give any other doneness level other than medium well to well done. When asked for rare he would give a very mean look just give a well done one anyway. A little girl asked him very kindly for a slice of meat he was supposed to cut serve her and if repeatedly ignored her. I finally said “Sir she is asking you for a slice of ham!” He cut it more or less tossed it on her plate. Ugh!!!!"
