"Hailing from New York where various cuisines meet their best as one can imagine, so expectations are at a higher stake when traveling. : A week ago I went to Mitara cafe during my visit in Istanbul for dinner and had the most delicious food. I ordered the Artichoke, Beet (Salad , Green Beans, Eggplant and Olive Salad. All dishes were authentic in flavors and were very well harmonized. One can taste that the dishes were diligently prepared with heart and soul. It literally was the best food experience in Istanbul on this trip. Prices are pretty decent for the quality of of food that is served. Small dishes (starters are 22 -33tl. My second visit I went earlier in the day sat inside the cafe and had only tea. The ambiance with hand picked art work from antics to contemporary authentic art and tools displayed makes one feel the magical environment of old ancient İstanbul. The surrounding was just breath taking. I love Turkish tea btw. Even the tea had a marvelous flavor not like the conventional taste. Like nothing else is conventional at Mitara. I truly enjoyed being in Istanbul and Mitara is part of it! A must visit place when in Istanbul."

"I have been vegan for almost five years and it was hard to find a nice place to eat around my neighborhood Beşiktaş. Maybe a few fast food options. But now with the opening of Nevale Mutfak I can find delicious, healthy and clean food . For summer season my favorites are artichoke and barbuş with bean and zuccihini and for the winter season my favorites are sinkonta a Creatan recipe with pumpkin and topik Armenian traditional recipe with chickpeas, you should check it, it hard to define : . Lastly my whole year favorites are kısır, humus best humus and kısır I have eaten , fava bean, all types of dolmas. Totally mediterranean : This place is a chance for us. I am sure vegans will enjoy it."
