"Lunch with my dear friend. Izzy was so sweet and helped with special dietary restrictions. We both had the fish. Delicious. I do not care what you order from Gallager’s everything on the menu is delicious. They by far have the most amazing staff. Outgoing and friendly. The hostess was super sweet and helpful. My friend has a broken foot and she was more then helpful getting her in and seated. We were so appreciated for all the help today making lunch special"

"Nice, cozy room with a small but well-designed selection of beers. The food is also very good; The starters may seem a little expensive for a gastropub, but for gourmets they are comparable in complexity and taste to dishes in the rich table, a rare find in the outer mission / Bernal. If you are looking for tasty snacks, great cocktails and beer in the neighborhood, I highly recommend this hotel."

"It's good. Honestly, Salad Station is better. Steak was good. Oyster okay. Everything else is terrible. I got a shrimp dish called Voodoo shrimps where they essentially drowned cheap baby shrimps (near popcorn size) in clumpy sweet Thai chili sauce... that they actually added more sugar. It was one of the worst things I've eaten everywhere. I tried to get the shrimps and dry it to make it edible, but really had problems to reduce it... and I like something sweet in Entrees. I tried to mention the problem court, but I was blown off. The focus in this place (except alcohol) is immediate revenue in exchange for a loss of regular customers (i.e.: 10X plus revenue annually (we live on foot). Could be a great place if they stick to steaks, but it's Louisiana. Only 1 fresh seafood dish on the menu. I wouldn't recommend it. Too many other decisions. At the price, go to New Orleans and get real 4-5 star food."
