"Bashu used to be one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Mississauga area. Though I still like the food to some extent, with my recent experience, I may not order or visit this restaurant any more. The waiting time is insanely long. I ordered the take out around 5:36pm, paid and gave tips and then waited in the restaurant. The food I ordered are all vegetables, no fish no meat. Guess how long it took to get the food, 60 minutes, a whole hour. They may have priorities on preparing food. I found it is very disappointing given I have already tipped. The service attendants did not care much about the crying customers. If you ever order takeout or visit the restaurant, make sure you count minimum an hour of waiting time. It is not pleasant to wait such long time!"

"We ordered steam pork bun and fried vege bun. Both are very tasty. The steam buns are very spongy and the fried bun is lightly crispy and vegetables stuffing taste is just right! Definitely will come back to try other dishes"

"We used to go there 4-5 years ago and then stopped as we found better Thai restaurants in the area. Tonight we decided to give it a try and see if we can get a decent Thai meal there, and were very disappointed. The spring rolls were ok, but the chicken satay was awful, sitting in a bitter yellow sauce....even the dipping sauces were not very good. The chicken cashew was ok, but very little chicken....however the green curry chicken was more like a soup. The gravy was actually more like a broth, not great when you put it on your plate and it "drowns" everything.....The pineapple fried rice was decent, but overall the quality and taste of the food was just sub-standard. Service was good and friendly...."

"Group of us went for lunch on a Sunday, no problem getting two large tables since we were early. Slowly the restaurant became full while we were tasting some of the exotic dishes from Northern China:1. Supreme Beiijing Roast Duck - the best dish of all that we tried. The wrap (blinis) was really thin, lots of garnishes. The duck soup was very tasty. The duck bone salt and pepper option was different. Must try.2. Tossed Mung clear noodles was a cold and vegetarian dish. Worth trying.3. Moo Shu Pork: Should have been served with wrapper. Otherwise it was good.4. Savoury Tianjin Pancake: way too salty, the fried donut and the crepe was very tough. Needs a lot of improvement.5. Chinese Pork Hamburger: the bun was tough although it was very tasty. Worth trying.6. Baked Sweet Potato: better than your ordinary French fries. Worth trying.7. Braised Pork Bone in BS: Came in a large bowl, tasty and good to try.8. Stewed Fish head with bread: way too salty. We were told later you could ask the kitchen to cut down on the salt. Tasty but certainly not worth the money.9. Baozi Stuffed with juicy pork: signature dish and worth trying.There are many unusual dishes that this restaurant offers. It would not be fair to make a final decision without trying at least half of their dishes.If you are adventurous this is the place to sample some of the finest of Chinese Cuisine."
