"That was my second visit to The Fish Stand. My only visit was over 15 years ago. The first visit was with the former owners and I was not impressed. This visit was a completely different experience. The atmosphere is light and airy, the staff is very friendly, the fish was slightly baked and very tasty, the claw was very creamy and tasty, and I loved the Pommes and Hush puppies. I'm sorry I waited so long to visit again as the new owners had it for some time. I will definitely come back as a regular. They have a limited menu, but what they do well. I couldn't believe they closed at 7:00. I was there from 5:30 a.m. to almost 7 p.m. and the place was constantly busy. You could definitely open up later and have a steady business."

"I had lunch at Blessings Tea Room and it was a great experience. The chicken and dumplings, green beans, pineapples, and lemon cake were all delicious. The service was great and the food came out very quickly, a great place to eat in Seymour!"

"The one thing that sticks out in my mind the most about Uncle Willies is that their beef brisket is always super lean. I 've been to other BBQ places in the area, and I 've had my fair share of super fatty brisket (which super grosses me out . I really like their sweet sauce too! The sides are ok. I think it would be nice if they cooked their potatoes for the potato salad a LITTLE longer, since the potatoes are always pretty firm. But it tastes good, so I can overlook it. I 've talked to a few different people while placing my orders, and more than a few times, they weren 't very knowledgeable about the menu at all. I 've asked important questions like Is it gluten free? and I 've gotten responses like I 'm not sure, I think it is which is really not an acceptable response to a question regarding allergens. So, I just order something that I 'm pretty sure is safe, like green beans, coleslaw and potato salad. Speaking of beans, they 've accidentally given me baked beans instead of green beans on several occasions. Kind of annoying... BUT...that won 't stop me from eating here! I always look forward to takeout nights from Willies :"

"Ordered T-Bone, Ribeye and a Steakburger and all been juicy, flavorful, simply delicious! Service been excellent. The owner very attentive and super nice. It's been one of a time experience, will gladly dine here again! Happy Thanksgiving!"

"We used Hucklebucks to cater a party and ordered Bisket and Pulled Pork. When I picked it up, I asked if they had plastic tongs to serve because I wasn't sure if the building I rented for the party had any. The owner brought out real tongs instead of plastic and told me to take them. I declined, but I appreciated the thought. The meat was perfect. Got lots of compliments all evening. Will be using them in the future."
