"Only three tables. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by an assistant manager who 's white shirt was distractingly ill-fitted. The gaps between the buttons were extremely unflattering and unprofessional. She led us to a booth laid the menus on the table. There were only 2 other tables occupied in the entire restaurant. We sat unattended for approximately 10 minutes, before Shawna 'greeted ' us. Shawna didn 't make eye contact with either my fiancee or I as she rattled off her introductory speech. "My friends and I ended up on a spontaneous mini-crawl and came here on recommendation from a nearby bartender. We were not prepared (or really dressed) to walk into somewhere so fancy, but they didn't bat an eye. We had some very spicy mac cheese, excellent bacon caramel popcorn and a sweet, fluffy strawberry shortcake concoction. The Broken Compass cocktail unfortunately tasted like straight lemon juice to me, but when I couldn't drink it at all, they comped it, which was very classy. Our very friendly and knowledgeable waitress guided me to the Captain's Daiquiri, which was still citrus-forward but infinitely more enjoyable. My friend also had an excellent drink I have forgotten the name of, but it tasted precisely like a grapefruit. All told, we were favorably impressed and I look forward to coming back for a proper meal."

"Best chinese food in the area. I've eaten at most of the Chinese restaurants in the east Tulsa area and I stopped eating Chinese for a while just waiting for the Taste of China to re-open. Everyone in my building says the same thing. I think sometimes complaints come from the competittors whose food is not half as good. Loyal customer since 2004. Love that blackberry cobbler!! Shag"

"It had been a few years sense I had been to Tally's. I took some friends for a route 66 experience.. It did not look like the pictures. The food was as good as ever a nice experience, but I think they lost there way when they changed the exterior, I loved the big red canapé it was so so cool, but alas not now, The green metal awning not cool at all. Tulsa has lost two really neat places Tally's it is still there it just lost it's cool factor and the Metro dinner out of business ( Elvis does not eat there any more ) Again the food was fine, don't be in a hurry it takes a while. I was disappointed in the outside appearance."
