"We are new to the area and just used google to find something recommended. This place came up so we tried it. It was weird. The decor and ?vibe? is a clash between Tex-Mex and Rt. 66. With scattered ?saints? and religious items. It seems likethey wanted to be a Mexican restaurant but tried to capitalize on the location and Route 66 popularity. The food was also notgood, the theme is ?green chili?s? and they are on everything. The thing is that they aren?t good. They didn?t seem fresh, andmost of the other food wasn?t great either. The ?quest? tasted like melted American, was a strange texture. We also had one beereach, which were expensive compared to other locations around the OKC area. They do sell homemade pies, but we were not in themood for desert really. And again, that added to the weird ?vibe? of mex, Route 66 etc. Overall, strange decor and not greatfood. With that said, most reviews are positive. It?s also worth noting that most people there were late 40s or older. Ifyou?re looking for a good taco I?d recommend the food truck in the parking lot next door."

"Fabulous casual New Mexican dining experience. This place is popular for a reason and it's likely you're going to have to wait 30 60 minutes to be seated, but boy is the food worth the wait. My out of town dining companions went for the combo plates and wow, the portions are ultra generous. They loved all the options relleno, posole, enchilada, taco, sopapilla. Everything is fresh, hot, nicely spiced; perfect. My wife and I ordered the Green Chili Stew and we thought it was the best in Santa Fe super tender chunks of pork in a delicious sauce. I can't wait to go back and explore more items on the menu. Service was prompt, super friendly and very knowledgeable; the atmosphere is casual, but very clean and not really that noisy when you consider the crowds. Great spot highly recommended."

"Great ribs, turkey, beans, creamed corn, sauces. Amazing green chili with a little smokiness to it. Too sweet potato salad though. Excessive service maybe. I said bye or hi to 4 employees! The inside decoration and ambiance was perfect for a bbq joint."

"I have not seen a Taco Cabana in years..Always loved their Margaritas ?. Sign said Margaritas and beer. She looked at me like I was crazy, laughed and said...um..we have beer.The drink is the reason I went. I did eat and it was decent.Customer service was lacking. Wont be back."
