"Royal Thai is a small, family owned restaurant. They serve a wide variety of Thai food, but maintain separate vegan and gluten free menus. The food is excellent, imaginative, and compares well with the best Thai food in the Bay Area. Of particular note are Tom Ka Tofu (wow! fresh rolls (I like the avocado best Keow Wan Roti appetizer (spicy avocado curry Thai coffee sticky rice with mango Very good brown rice and generous portions too. To round out all the positives, the service is always friendly and helpful. You really can't go wrong here."

"Pretty disappointed with the food. The chicken seems more bready than meaty. If you want vegetable lo mein instead of rice, you must order separately. So I tried both the rice and the lo mein. Those were okay. However, I did not end up eating most of the food, as much as I hate to waste food, it was just not pleasant."

"I almost sit in disbelief that a Thai restaurant in Alabama could be so authentic, traditional and delicious. My favorite dish is yellow curry, and it was amazing! Probably the best I have had throughout my world travels. The curry was flavorful and spicy...absolutely the best curry I have had in years. I highly recommend this restaurant not only because the dishes are fabulous but the people are very nice and quite interesting. If I could rate this place a 10, I wouldn’t hesitate. So there is no need for you to hesitate, go visit Keo and staff, and enjoy their authentic Thai awesomeness!!"

"I had a #44 House Special Stir Fry with a side of peanut sauce for a take-out lunch with some people from work. The stir fry was excellent and adequately spiced (I like it hot, so I asked for an honest 5/5 spice level). Portions were large enough that I could make two meals out of one order. Surprising for the cost of the dish. The peanut sauce was a little too sweet for my taste, but it blended well with the sauce in the stir fry. Would absolutely recommend. Good taste, great value."

"We love this place. The host/waiter is really friendly, and the food is always good. Our go to menu is green curry, fried rice, and drunken noodles! When you go to lunch, please try the coconut soup instead of egg roll. It is really good!!"
