"I enjoy Tanad. I find the food tasty. I’m not much of curries, but I get rice dishes, because, well, I’m Latin! Their fried rice dishes are good. Typically not greasy. I like getting the duck dish, too, but sometimes it can be a bit dry. I understand; it’s fried and they do serve it with a generous portion of sauce to moisten the duck, but still. Anyway, I enjoy their food and getting the chicken with eggplant, too. One of my favorite dishes."

"It's Asian fusion. The menu covers Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, a bit Korean and Japanese. Nothing is phenomenal but everything is pretty ok. This is downtown DC. I think to find an above average Asian fusion is really a plus, with all considered. The service is great. And it's a decent place for groups, family. The bill won't break your wallet for downtown DC pricing."

"Great Pan-Asian Neighborhood Resto. I've been a Spices fan for some time. It's a convenient Cleveland Park neighborhood restaurant with a variety of Asian dishes. One of my favorites is a chicken dish with ginger. Most of the Thai dishes I've tried here have been good. Delivery is also fast and reliable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the portions seem to be getting smaller..."

"Anniversary dinner with our two children, 8 and 10. We decided to sit out on the porch on a fairly humid June evening and the ceiling fans made for a nice breeze. We find most of the restaurants are overly air-conditioned, but Metro 8 didn't seem like a fridge even when we came in - that's a big plus for me! Our waitress was very nice and attentive without interfering. She noted that it was nice to see kids with books (and math in our conversation) instead of iPads. The steaks my husband and I ordered were as stated and delicious. So were the pages. Our girls loved their grilled chicken. Cocktails were good and just the right strength. Highly recommended."
