"After reading the many good reviews we had to try it! Casual dining in a very clean place. We had a garden salad, many rolls, tuna nigiri, salmon nigiri, endamame, green tea and finished with ginger ice cream. All super fresh ingredients. We will be back!"

"I enjoyed my first experience here in el chino very much. a friend recommended it because of the tacos and we were thrilled to try it. we had the dizzy, general tao chicken wing, and the dizzy bones. everything was delicious. the standout article was definitiw the tacos. they were jam packed and very authentic Mexican tasting. it is definitiw a little expensive for what they get, what the only reason is that I did not have a full 5 stars. but they call them themselves a snack bar, so it is not exactly a dinner destination, so I can do it right by the way and simply immerse it here if I tend a little snack rather than a complete meal."

"The food lacks the hype of what everyone raves about. The hand made taco shells which are hand rolled are much to be appreciated. We tried 2 orders of each taco, general tao chicken wings, vegetarian patties and an assortment of drinks. Thedrinks were well made, great mix of tastes. The tacos are basic, nothing they truly add in it that makes it theirs that otherscan't replicate. My friends say the vegetarian patty was great. We didn't finish the wings, I didn't mind them, other people saythere's too much of an aftertaste, most likely from hoisin sauce."

"We spent our labour day weekend in Halifax. We walked pass this restaurant in the first night, went in and decided to go for all you can eat hot pot. We chose two base soups and ordered a dish of beef, lamb and shrimp. Because these 3 items are not included in all you can eat . I think beef and lamb were worth to order, but shrimp was not peeled so I didn 't enjoy them. There are many choices and variety in the buffet. We are happy with most of items in the buffet. When the base soup got lower later, we asked to add more, but we were charged for add more . I 'd not recommend to order tea because we barely drank our tea. Tea seems not go along well with hot pot."

"Roll It Up is the obvious choice when it comes to Sushi in Halifax. The staff are excellent, the fish is FRESH, and the variety is almost overwhelming. With free delivery over $30 and AMAZING happy hour deals, I am confident Roll It Up will rapidly rice to the top :P get it, sushi puns? :P 10/10 would recommend"

"Went to get sushi downtown for a lunch date with a friend. I ordered the Maki Lunch, providing me with a delicious plate full of rolls. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice with kind servers to bring you your food. The miso soup was excellent and the spicy salmon rolls were very yummy. However, the house salad was not very good and some of the rolls had an uneven proportion of elements, making each bite slightly unbalanced. Overall, a good place to go for a reasonably priced sushi lunch deal.Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options on the menu."
