"When you walk in, it's a weird labyrinth with an option for a dining area near the bar or an area upstairs with live jazz. We chose the quieter option. We ordered the fried ravioli appetizer which was extremely old grease saturated and tasting just thrown on a plate with a cup of a little sauce and a medium crushed tomato that couldn't fit on any of the ravioli. The piccata was lacking lemon and it was poured over the top of the peeling egg coated chicken but the spaghetti was 90% dry and tasted like Play-Doh. The sausage and spaghetti was so-so, the casing was almost impossible to cut through. The entire staff was teens early twenty somethings that seemed a tad scatterbrained. It's just not as good as Ippolitos and not worth the $100 before tip for 4 entrees, a salad, 1 appetizer."

"I was the only diner in the lobby, but rather slow service for ordering just a sub. Looks like they're making a fair amount of take-out and Uber orders that slowed me down. Friendly staff, Sub (hook and ladder) was compared to some other Firehouse sites."

"Pros: cheaper than other breakfast places. Breakfast for two consistently comes under $30 after a 20% tip. Breakfast and lunch are delicious. Portions are generous. (If you get the cats, be ready to throw because the thing is huge. The staff is well maintained, friendly and attentive. External seats are simple but pleasant. They also have fans on the terrace and raincovers. Never had a waiting time for more than 15 minutes! Cons: Occasionally, the outdoor seating area is closed. You can call to ask if the terrace is open before you go there, though. The seating area is tight."
