"INCREDIBLE CATERING! We needed some chicken and salads for my 40th Birthday, hosted by my 90+yo grandparents in the Sutherland Shire. Phil was so easy and efficient to deal with, and personally delivered our order to Randwick early on a Sunday morning, arriving 10min earlier than arranged. Everything was packaged securely ready for serving, the food traveled well and was absolutely delicious. My family could not believe the salads were made by a chicken shop. Thank you for making it so easy, expect to hear from us again!!"

"I have had takeaway work lunch from here a few times. My favourite item on the menu was the Laham Mishwee wrap (grilled lamb, slaw, pickles, baba ganoush, zaatar yoghurt). It was made to order including the fresh bread off the press. Considering it was a busy lunch time, I was served in a very reasonable amount of time and received my food with napkins and cutlery (where applicable). I find the prices affordable for a work lunch and you get a generous quantity. <br/ <br/ I didn't enjoy the falafal wrap as much as I found it a bit dry. The box options are tasty as well but are quite filling with all the rice."

"The food here is delicious. I ordered the boxes' and choose the chicken shwarma, Egyptian Rice, Hummus and Chickpeas salad. The chicken shwarma and the rice was fantastic. For someone who rarely eat middle eastern food, I don't know how ti eat the hummus so I was eating it lastly after the rice and chicjen was finished, but the taste was quite nice. The salad was okay not too special My only concern is that they're using wooden cutleries which has this weird texture in your mouth. I prefer plastic cutleries"

"The food was delivered 35 minutes too late. restaurant was dishonest when I asked how far the driver is. chips tasted as if they were fought from the night before, we paid $1.95 for a bbq sauce that came in a small Heinz sachet, we also ordered a crispy chickenburger and it came with a half piece of carving that smacked microwave. our pizza was hard and cheese was burned. salat and tomate were extremely soggy in the burger. will definitely not order from here again and would not recommend anyone."

City: Sydney, Foodhall, Lower Ground Floor, David Jones, 65-77 Market Street, CBD, Sydney, NSW, 2000, Australia
"Been here many times. The basement of the Market Street Store of David Jones is an Aladdin's Cave of delicacies. Teas, biscuits, chocolates, cheese, meat, fish, vegetables, nuts, fruit, condiments, bread, pastries, olive oils, coffee and tea from all over Australia and the world. A wonderland of tastes, but nothing is cheap, though you get what you pay for (in my opinion). If that isn't enough, you can sit on swivel seats at counters located around the floor and try some of the exquisite meals, also expensive, but cheaper than Harrods in London. My wife and I often venture into the City of Sydney for our shopping adventures and always end up at the David Jones Food Hall. Quite often just for tea and cake at the Market Street Kitchen, down the stairs from Market Street on the south side of the street. This part of the food hall is a wine connoisseurs heaven, where you can purchase a card and fill it with funds, where you can drink a variety of wines using the money in the card. I noticed you can buy a small, medium of large glass of wines from all over Australia, including a vintage bottle of Grange Hermitage or any wines up to the amount on your card. Every day, the area is full of wine buffs. My wife and I go there for either wine or tea and coffee with a light savoury meal or dessert. Additionally in the Food Hall, there is an Oyster Bar which sells fresh oysters, a beautiful seafood pie or a grilled salmon meal which are extremely enjoyable with a glass of champagne. We have also eaten in the Grill Bar, where you can order a beautifully cooked Fillet Steak with seasonal vegetables. Additionally, there is an Asian Noodle Bar, if you are craving laksa, dumplings or Asian noodles. At most of the counters, a full meal for two people, including mains and drinks, will be over $100. Today at 3.00 pm, we just shared a roasted chicken and salad sandwich, a glass of Tintara Shiraz from McLaren Vale, South Australia and a pot of Earl Grey Tea with a small jug of milk for $29. It is a special place to go and always busy at meal times. If you go out of the usual meal times, you shouldn't have a problem for seating. Recommended for full meals on special occasions (or even as a special snack, hard earned for walking around the different departments of the store and getting tired feet)."
