"Sittin in the lovely dinning room of ripples as I'm writing this, apart from the staff being oh so lovely and knowing there stuff about the wine the food is just amazing the oysters served with miron and chilli jelly and also a pickled shallot are just to die for simple but done really well! The sticky pork belly with Asian slaw and a little touch of lime is the best pork belly I've had oh so juicy and jam packed with flavour. In whole the wine matches and the food an amazing dining experience thanks guys"

"What a find! First time visiting Geelong and whilst exploring the city discovered this gem of a place. Large and bright, the food is exceptional and the fiery spice and heat was perfect to warm us up on a cold winter’s day. The food is nicely presented and generous in portion their rice in banana leaf with anchovies (Nasi bakar) was the perfect accompaniment to their spicy chicken. Service is friendly and if your are unfamiliar with Indonesian food they’ll explain it all to you. And pricing is reasonable judging from the other patrons (lots of Indonesians), this is a regular hangout for good Indonesian food."

"The thing is, I've had a mixed experience with this place. The first time I went, it was not bad at all. Went on a week day for lunch with some friends and had a good time. But the second time - last Friday night - has decided that I'll probably never come back. I went with my mum and we wanted to have a nice, simple dinner before having people over at our house. We ordered dumplings which were delicious and came quickly, but also 2 cold salads with grilled chicken. 45 minutes later, we were wondering where our salads were. So mum asked. She was told that they take a while to make due to the cooking process. Didn't really believe that looking at the ingredients (and final product). We realised that they most likely forgot. It wasn't that busy. Mum asked a second time, and they brought the salads out within 10 minutes. The thing that bugs me is that we were ok waiting, but just please be honest and say that you forgot. That's cool, we all do these things. The waitress was really nice about it, but honesty is always appreciated.Again, I really wanted to love this place because it's so close, but it's a no from me when people can't be straight up."
