"If you’re in the area this is THE place for your Portuguese chicken. Excellent value and the friendliest atmosphere it’s like we are family. The price is very good for the amount of food offered. I rather stop in and take out there than go...to St-Hubert that taste like bland run of the mill Swiss chalet for any other bar bq chicken place. I love it and highly recommend it."

"Always so delicious and a healthier option than lots of faster serviced food on st Catherine. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Your chefs just NEED to stop using the same tongs for raw chicken and cooked chicken. I saw the chef today using itfor taking the raw chicken out the bucket and for flipping the cooked chicken. You will get someone very sick or get shut downfor not being more careful with that. It would be a shame as the place is delicious and the staff are wonderful. Could be a oneoff today but just a heads up as that's very serious."

"A Canadian recommended this place to me instead of la banquise, you have more choices beside putine, the delicious portugués Chicken, also is not that crowded because it's much more local... they have big variety of homemade desserts, guarana drinks, and a nice terrace to eat your meal! Prices from very cheap if is a small portion. Very delicious!!!"

"I never come to montreal without booking an occasion to have fun in this bistro. the location is great, right next to the parc la fontaine, the environment is cozy, has a great outdoor area for a coffee and a good chat. the food is excellent, well served dishes, varied menu and always surprise me with a special flavor, like the mussels of last night. Specials! the service is very attentive. It is worth meeting and coming back!"

"I went to Da Silva for their grilled Portuguese-style chicken. While their small restaurant is attractive, their chicken is disappointing. The breast/wing was small in size and somewhat dry. The salad on the side contained fresh lettuce, onions and tomatoes but had a minimal amount of dressing. The fries tasted fine but overwhelmed the plate. There are so many better chicken (rotisserie and grilled) choices in Montreal that I will likely skip Da Silva's in the future."

"Fresh food. fresh recipes. fresh people. loved it. special place. cosy. short wait to get a place but worth it. would recommend it for brunch or lunch. I tried many of their dishes including raviolis which i think is their specialty. However, I found this dish overrated especially that their soup and small bite burger are soooo yummy I had to come back to have them again."
