"We had a seafood craving and that was the spot for that! We enjoyed all our dishes (see pics) especially the octopus appetizer and the lobster fettuccine , service was impeccable, i have nothing negative to say. Just know that ur going to a nice...restaurant so expect to pay in consequences , bon appetit!"

"Perfectly cooked fish, in this case halibut. Generous (too generous) portions. Lost a star on the Hollandaise, served separately and became watery. Should have chosen “meunière”. Yet an exceptional fish and seafood restaurant."

"Had a table on the terrace with my family. The service was in top with friendly and very qualified service that led us to some good orders. Great oysters and good Cava for appetizers. Also main dishes were perfect. And the place was silent without music so we could communicate over the table (and not as in many other places around Montreal where you should scream to each other if you want to talk). Will truly return to this place for the good food and the nice service. Price level is in accordance with the quality of the restaurant."

"GRILLED SEAFOOD PLATTER with Shrimps, scallops, octopus and calamari. What can I say, but a delightful, singular flavor from the wood burning oven and cooked to perfection. The bread served is not one of my favorites, however my partner finds it amazing..go figure! . SEA URCHIN DUO with Cherry, beet, pomegranate, scallops, Yuzu gel. Clean flavors from a pretty rich appetizer. The gel, my partner enjoyed and she is not a fan of that style. DIGBY SCALLOPS with La Canardière foie gras, celeriac, apricot, caper. Cooked as they should be, just fantastic! SALMON with beets…ahhh the only disappointment. The beets were a bit too al dente, but that is a matter of taste. Some would rate it higher than me. However the salmon was not a sushi grade. Which might not be an issue, but it was cut in a way that resulted in stringy pieces of fish. The service would be rated higher, except our waiter appeared relatively new and had trouble finding dairy free options for my partner among other requests. However the Somelier saved the day. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and a great conversationalist. After we perused the Greek selections with him. He set us up with a top notch Italian white wine. This was after our discussion, that the secret of Greek wines is out and the price to value is not as competitive as it was before. The desert wine recommendations were excellent as well. I have been coming to Ikanos for 10 years as an Old Montreal resident, who knows the quality from the tourist oriented places. Never a bad experience at Ikanos and enjoy the subdued ambiance. In the past, had amazing experiences signing up for the tasting menus with the guest Chefs. I find myself coming less often now, as the prices have increased over time. So it is more of a special occasion place for us, than a go to in Old Montreal."

"Everybody was adorable, great service. The MTL à Table menu was DELICIOUS! We loved the food that was served with good bread. Wine (riesling from Niagara) was also excellent. A great night!"
