"We usually go to Mision 19, their sister restaurant which we love. This one is quite different. More traditional Spanish and Mexican food. I did not enjoy my trout, but people in the party had a seafood platter and a tongue dish, which they said was excellent. The waiters were very efficient. They had a trio playing and singing old Mexican music. Very nice atmospere."

"We were staying at the hotel across the mall where the restaurant is located and decided to give it it a try. We went there for lunch on the 30th of December 2019. They have both an English and Spanish menu. The decor and general...setting is very well done and comfortable. This place would be great in the evenings too. We ordered the Tuna Carnitas, Abuela’s soup, Cheese with chorizo queso, the meat tacos with marrow, fries, and guacamole. I thought the tuna was too dry and did not each much of it. The soup was delicious but be warned it is spicy. It has beans, meat, bacon bits, and other deliciousness cooked into it. The cheese and chorizo queso was amazing and definitely something to try if you like that kind of stuff. The meat tacos were tender and full of flavor. Can’t really mess up fries and guacamole, although we have been places that managed that, the fries are seasoned and the guacamole was just right. Fresh and flavorful. We live in Texas and have our fair share of Tex-Mex food which we love. This was my first trip to Tijuana and they love their lime and chili flavor. I am not going to say anything bad about it just informing the reader. Service was great and the food was fresh. We spent about $60US and was very satisfied we could easily have spent more back in the US."

"Tired after a tour at Mercado Miguel Hidalgo we discovered this restaurant and we decided to try it! Unbelievable! Amazing wonderful food, very pleasant ambience and great service from the owner himself. The ducks Tacos with avocado and picked onions, where delicious. Great balance... and rich taste for the Ensalada Asada. The lamb was excellent. Beverages and Affogato also excellent!"

"The explosion of flavors once you taste the superb dishes will leave you breathless, I have been here several times, lets start with the appetizers, I recommend the Portobello, goat cheese and blackberry marmalade egg rolls, with pimiento and chipotle sauce, once you bite in to the crunchy shell of the egg roll, the combination of salty, sweet and spicy flavors tantalizing your palate. Also, I recommend the shrimp jicama tacos, can`t describe it, you need to eat it for your self. Also, the charbroiled octopus, served with a bed of dehydrated garlic, cherry tomatoes and Guadalupe Valley olives, this dish is a masterpiece, also, I recommend the sirloin burguer, this is the first time in my life that I enjoyed every bite, I wanted more and more of this burger. The desserts are also a very unique creation of the chef and owner, who is always present at the restaurant. Good prices, nice food, nice wine selection, and for your information, thursdays is ladies martini night, so you can have as many as you want, but remember, always bring a designated driver. So enjoy your dinner, and please don´t drink and drive."
