"I am very critical of restaurants. I have no qualms burying a restaurant with the truth. In this case the truth is this place is fantastic. The food was delicious, healthy and fresh. The options will satisfy a diverse group of your family and friends. The service was prompt, responsive and just shy of intrusive. The atmosphere was light and casual. The price was on the low side of high priced but well worth the expense. I have been to a taste of Portugal twice and I have not been disappointed. The baked cod fish dish with the veggies and potatoes was enough for two. The rib eye with potatoes and veggies was huge. I didn’t walk out of there feeling like I just ate thanksgiving. I walked out feeling like I ate a large healthy meal and I still had a take home bag with me. The limoncello ice cream tart dessert was unique and new for my palate. I loved it. They had a chocolate layered cup with different textures of dark chocolate in one cup (shaved chocolate, mouse, pudding/cream and chocolate with nuts on top) it was unbelievable. This place will be one of my go to places when I want to impress someone with a good time out for dinner. Expect to spend about $100 for a table of two, not including drinks from the bar, but like I said the food portions and the way it was prepared and served make the cost worth it. Enjoy going here. It is highly recommended."

"Great place with great staff and delicious food. Make a reservation as the staff is limited so they are limiting tables. You can roll the dice on seats at the bar but I saw multiple groups not being able to eat as no seats were available."

"Great atmosphere. They take reservations, but also welcome walks. We sat in less than 15 minutes on a Sunday afternoon without reservation. The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The old fashion was well made and the lemon drop Martini was delicious. The double pork chop was a bit rare on the bone, but the offer to finish cooking and bring it back, but we refused when we were filled, the black prime rib was perfect. The only improvement I could suggest was to soften the butter for the bread it was hard. I would recommend this place if your food on the river walk!"

"Waiting is worth the delicious meat that is cooked charcoal, which gives a juicy and delicate taste. For those who are not looking for a meat night, the grilled branzino is super! Either red or white Sangria is the perfect companion to this delicious meal. The staff is corteous and friendly with a great service to finish an excellent evening! Will definitely go back at least once a month!"

"We were excited to try this place out when we were vacationing in the area but we're disappointed in the service. Our food came out just a few minutes after we got our appetizers and then the fries clearly weren't fresh and someone in our party had to sendtheir burger back because it was cold. The server never checked back to see if we needed anything or if our food wassatisfactory. This place has some serious potential but needs some stronger management and staff protocols."

"Our family hadn't been here since the 1980s and decided to stop by for pizza and a beer. Let's just say, we were heavily disappointed. From what I've since learned, they've went through 2 or 3 owners since opening in 1984. The bar and dining area are cute and the place was clean as a whistle. We sat in the bar and the server, instead of presenting me a beer list, told me to go into the kitchen area and just pick a beer from the fridge. They do not have any beer on tap. Suffice to say, that was pretty silly, given that I was in every employee's way and had no clue what I was looking for...I haven't lived in the area in a decade and only knew Sun King. I asked for advice and the server told me most of the beers were IPAs and I said I don't like IPAs. I settled on a Terre Haute Brewing Company cream ale which was ok. The server was grumpy. I think she was overwhelmed or perhaps just having a bad day. She gave us menus and got us waters and proceeded to take other customer's orders despite us being ready for about 5 6 minutes and waiting an eternity in restaurants and being the first people in her area. Eventually, we flagged her down and got our order in fried ravioli and a small cheese pizza. The fried ravioli were brought out by a very nice young staff member. However, the ravioli were clearly pre frozen, probably from the food distribution service the Ordinary sources from. They were fine, with cold ? tomato sauce on the side that tasted like it was from a can. For me, a classic cheese and tomato sauce pizza is the true test of a pizzeria's quality. This was disgusting. The pizza did not taste like any love was put into it. I was born and raised in Indiana and I know Hoosiers love their cheese. We should have ordered a tomato sauce pie with light cheese. It came out with tons of cheese smothered all over it, a tiny bit of sauce, and on the worst pre made, frozen pizza crust. The crust was clearly pre made/frozen/not made in house: you could see the little dots that line the bottom of frozen/pre made pizza crust on the bottom and it tasted like cardboard. I thought I was eating the cheapest pizza in the frozen food department. No servers ever checked on us to make sure we were OK. We had to flag down a third server, not even working our section, to ring us up. We left and never will go back unless something changes drastically."
