"The food was good. The parts for this order are larger than before. We haven't been here for a few years. Prices have risen, but what is new because of this inflation. The chicken fried chicken was very good. The waitress was very attentive. We want to go back."

"Initial efforts to get a table were very slow no one made any effort to even check the reception area. When seated in an almost empty restaurant the service improved significantly. Food was served efficiently, cooked properly and was good. To be frank, it was better than expected . It was not outstanding and coupled with the initial lack of recognition in an almost empty eating area cost the fifth star. It may have just been an off night but with only one visit I can't answer that."

"We don't particularly care for the music because we can't talk to the people we are having dinner with. This time the music wasn't overly loud, but we still had trouble hearing each other. The place is too small for someone to be playing music or have them start at or pm instead of so early."

"We see why this place is rated number one by TripAdvisor for Anderson. We had a great time and delicious meals. Two of us had a porkchop special with dirty rice and vegetables. So good! The pork was crispy outside and so juicy and tender inside. Definitely should add this to the regular menu. One of us had Scallops Provencale, also delicious and perfectly seasoned. I had shrimp and scallops with a cream-based pasta sauce. It was so good! Not too heavy and I cleaned my plate. There was also a $10 bottle of wine special, a nice touch. We did not have room for dessert but the selections sounded wonderful. The menu also includes a wide variety of pizza options, appetizers, salads, soup, sandwiches and other entrees. Our server was attentive and we got our food quickly. We will definitely be back."

"The breakfast plate with eggs, bacon or sausage, biscuit or toast (get the biscuit), and grits was absolutely delicious. They use local grown ingredients to make their breakfast and lunch and it's delicious! They are very friendly and it's a cute country like setting. Don't forget to check out their market with all the fresh produce, honey, milk, eggs, and meats, plus more."

"This was our first visiting, we're from Georgia. Everything was FABULOUS! The meat fell off the bone when I picked up my ribs, the brisket was perfect. I'm not a huge baked bean person but these are great! The only thing we didn't like was the Brunswick stew, wasn't bad just not for me. No crackers, might have been better. Our waitress was amazing! We will definitely make the 1hour drive back."
