"We tried Big Daddy's the week they opened and were not impressed. The service was great and we love the ambiance but the food was average. We decided to give them another try and were so happy we did! The menu has been updated and the service was incredible! Our waiter Phil anticipated every need and was constantly checking to see if everything was okay. We had shrimp and grits, catfish and the ribs. Every entree was excellent. We were disappointed however that the trout is no longer on the menu. Dessert and coffee were good. We will definitely return. Would eventually like to see more of the Massapequa menu at this location but for now, this is a great venue! A welcome addition to the Bay Shore restaurant scene."
