"Going to this restaurant is like stepping back in time. It felt like i was visiting a old time western style restaurant. Even the staff mad us feel nostalgia. The restaurant was pretty run down, especially the bathrooms, but it made me felt even more that I took a step back in time. I enjoyed the over all atmosphere. We came to the restaurant around 10pm and it was quite dead. It was so quiet inside due to this, but the service was outstanding. Patricia, our waitress was incredibly sweet and continously checked on us. Her hospitality and the atmosphere of the whole restaurant brought me to my child hood days. The food was quite large and satisfying for the price. The child menu was incredibly cheap $3.99 in comparison to other restaurants. Also the price over quantity was not to bad. The chicken fried steak was our favorite and the waffle/pancake batter is made directly from the restaurant. My daughter loved the ice-cream, which also had a homemade taste to it. Overall satisfaction was great due to the hospitality and food quantity. Thank you."

"The Huevos rancheros with pulled pork were delicious. The {Southern} Benedict was also very good. Everything came hot fresh from the kitchen and was beautifully presented. The fantastic staff was very friendly and didn't let my coffee cups run dry! The bright and airy dining room was nicely furnished and offers a great atmosphere."

"This is the brunch spot on Sunday. The baby girl suggested this place, so we were ready for some good eating. To keep things in order, a young man was stationed outside to put us on the list. Our wait on this Sunday was 30 to 45 minutes. We could've waited on the patio, but we opted for the car due to the cool temperature. They text you when your table is ready. What's good: the plate portions are hefty. My omelette could serve two people truly. The City Grits are highly recommended also. And my cocktail was tasty. I'll also add our servers Adam and Marcos were attentive and timely. What could be adjusted: I'm a mimosa connoisseur and I was surprised my $12 mimosa was a little skimpy on the serving size and decorations. Based on the description I expected more. Much more. Overall, get into this place."

"Stopped by here after checking out of our hotel. Everything looked great. I opted for the chicken and waffles. The chicken had its own unique taste. I also want to mention that the coffee I had here was hands down, the best I've ever had. If I'm ever in College Station again I'll definitely come back and try something different."
