"We decided to stopped at this restaurant after we left the Derby, and I’m glad we did. The food was great! My bf ordered the steak and I ordered the cordon bleu…we started with the octopus and let me tell you, it was delicious! If you like garlic which I do! I would absolutely recommend the grilled octopus. The cordon bleu comes with mashed potato, very creamy and a white sauce that absolutely complemented the plate. The steak cooked to perfection and so good! It comes with carrots and broccoli…also, comes with a great chimichurri sauce! My boyfriend ordered a bourbon drink he loved and I ordered the French bottle of wine. Service and ambiance A+ If you like art, this restaurant it’s connected to a small gallery. When in Louisville, go to the Proof for a magnificent experience"

"First time diners, and wow, this place was amazing. Our server Gabriella was awesome, friendly, honest and helped us make some great choices for food! The staff was attentive and friendly and of course the food was amazing. Their seafood starter had perfectly done scallops, sweet king crab cut open so I didn’t make a mess of myself! The dry aged rib eye was an amazing steak, cooked perfectly, and so tasty! We had the chocolate bread pudding for dessert which was also amazing! And the drinks … Gabriellas suggestions for wine was so good my wife made me take her to buy a few bottles after and I had the oak smoked ok’d fashioned which was one of the best old fashions I have ever had! My wife who doesn’t like whiskey said she would drink their old fashion!! And the manager George stopped by our table and was so nice! Well run operation and amazing food 5 stars all the way!!"

"The guacamole is excellent. We ate outdoors on the sidewalk which was a pleasant experience. While the food is neither authentic nor gourmet, it is quite tasty and well prepared. Service is good and portions are generous. It's a fun environment."

"Nice enough restaurant, but way too noisy. Food very good but not outstanding. I'd flagged our group as celebrating a birthday (my grandson's 19th), but the waiter told us they didn't do anything for special occasions -- a disappointment since the question was asked when I made the reservation through Open Table. A bit on the expensive side, but I suppose that's to be expected on a warm summer weekend night."

"This was the first time we have been since they reopened for dinner after a short remodel. Hopefully the menu isn’t set yet as someone mentioned they are still testing it out. Several favorites have been removed and prices have been raised. The green Chile wontons were cold. Service and cocktails were amazing as usual."
