"Outstanding barbecue in an upscale restaurant. The food was delicious hot and very well presented. My favorite was the beef brisket which was well smoked, tender and very flavorful. Waiter was extremely attentive and friendly. The only issue was the location can be a bit hard to find"

"After a day of boating...or a spot on the water for a drink and some noshes...Marker 244 is good. An outdoor restaurant...tables under the porch roof...tables inside surrounded by open garage doors...a deck if you want some sun. A fully-stocked bar area with beachy atmosphere. Ginny, our waitress, was helpful, truthful, prompt, and just plain nice. We only had snack-type food...fish bites (excellent, but not enough to fall into meal category Nachos (big bowl...some kick! Rice and peas (a side and a salad. Kind of expensive for the quantity of food. Actually really expensive for the quantity of food! Neat experience, though. Try it. Perhaps your view of life is a tad more worldly than mine."
