"We ordered the specials Salmon one dish and Bacon wrapped pork loin the other. Both came with sides that complemented well. Amazing topped off with great service Mel. Definitely 5 stars!"

"We were happy to find this little gem in Wilson. Traveling for a tournament and we always try to try something local. To our surprise there was good live music, a quaint little atmosphere and the food was solid. Prices were really reasonable too. My meal (pork chops, 2 sides was $8.99) wait staff was also friendly and good."

"4 stars for the bar area and the fact that they have Blanton's and Buffalo Trace. It's a nice separate room with bar and table seating. Highly recommended for drinks and appetizer. The restaurant is 3 star. Nothing really wrong with anything but nothing is outstanding. Although the fries with the Smash burger were delicious, and the French Onion soup looked good (mother-in-law said it was). It's good enough for a night out."

"Great prices, great food. I personally loved the country ham (it was admittedly quite salty and I’m sure that could turn some people off, but I loved it). The home made briskets were wonderful. I’m coming back next time I’m in Wilson."

"Daniel's is delish. Cute little restaurant, the Chinese dividers and candles make the the environment more intimate. The martinis are made with fresh garnish. Daniel gives a new spin on the Shrimp and grits. It's like He Fried the grits to a perfect crisp and the sauce just seals the deal with just enough kick! My fiance had the pork chop, it was sooooo juicy. The customer service is great and I didnt feel rushed to get thru my 3 course meal. Daniel's is definitely a secret gem!!! I'm coming back to try to cajun chicken pasta.?"

"Very nice restaurant in downtown Wilson. The atmosphere was great and the food was even better. I had the shrimp and grits. The only thing that I found wrong was that I didn’t have enough stomach to finish it all. It was delicious and I would highly recommend this place if you are anywhere around Wilson."

"I've been to over 51 Waffle Houses many times. Never had a serious complaint. But this 1 takes the cake ! On 2 consecutive Sat nights at ~2300 I went to WH @Forest Hills Rd, Tarboro St. Both times all booths were closed off and the chairs were piled in top of bar stools. The 1st time Upon entering NO one said hello nor offered service even though there were no other customers. I thought they were closed, so I drove ~18 miles out of my way 2go2 I-95 WH. The 2nd time all seating was blocked off, but they did say hello. Said they were only doing take out. So, I left as did 3 others behind me.. Not as likely to go back to that one. I know they only had 3 workers, but they could sit a few people.Still love other WH's"

"01/01/22 We came here to celebrate New Years day. They weren't too busy at 6pm. We were given bread and butter but the butter was a no for me. The herbs in it was too much. We got the lobster mac and cheese, and that was the highlight of our dinner. I ordered the carbonara pasta. The chicken was nice but the sauce tasted like mayo. It didn't taste creamy. The cocktail that I ordered was too sweet, syrupy. Our waitress was pleasant. Overall, it's a decent upscale restuarant with a casual vibe (background music was 70s/80s hits). I would probably come back to try their brunch."
