"My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary, so he surprised me by choosing a restaurant we had not been to before. Because the decor is "scooter" themed, I assumed that is what Scopa meant in Italian, but no - it is apparently a card game, according to our enthusiastic and attentive waitress. I have never ordered spaghetti carbonara in a restaurant before, but could not resist the inclusion of wild boar bacon, and I was not disappointed! Beautifully seasoned, perfectly creamy with al dente pasta, and a generous portion paired with a great garnacha (Altovinium) made for a wonderful celebratory meal. The only slightly negative point was that my husbands tagliatelle was actually fettuccini, but since it also tasted great, he was not complaining. Their patio is beautifully framed with flowers, so I recommend the outdoor seating. Enjoy!"
