"I recently visited in Lawrence, Kansas. I was heading towards Kansas City when I made a stop at a gas station there where is the restaurant shared the space. Overall, it was a decent experience. ?I have to say, chicken, Shawarma the sandwich I tried was pretty good! ? I arrived shortly after lunchtime and the atmosphere was very quiet, with not much happening around. That's all for now! Just wanted to share this little snippet from my trip. Have a great day!"

"I stopped in because I was getting my car detailed across the street. The woman working was very welcoming, and the place seemed pretty lowkey. I ordered the lamb shawarma, the flavor profile was great, exactly what I wanted, but there were some notable disappointments. The ingredients that were out buffet style to be served were not fresh, the lettuce had oxidized (the red that appears), it is still safe to eat, but I do hold restaurants to a higher standard than my own kitchen Also, the lamb was not fresh either, it was dry. It was fine in the sandwich being masked by all the great flavors and the actual flavor profile of the meat was great as well, but eating the lamb on its own was a mistake… All in all because I slammed it back i’ll give this place a 4. I hope to try it again some day with better quality ingredients!"

"Great food had appetizer sampler and their mixed plate lamb tikka chicken kabob and ground beef the hot sauce is excellent but you have to ask for it. Nice baklava and ice cream for dessert. Our server Diego was on top of everything and handsome too! We'll be back for sure!"

"I am Iranian and ive been getting food from Farsi Cafe because its not only close to homemade food and irs very delicious. One bit of advice is make your dinner portions larger as the competition does. So its a bit pricey because the portions are smaller. I love the gheymeh but for some reason I keep getting gheymeh bademjoon instead of just gheymeh with French fries. The loo is polo was perfect! Thank you"
