"Top Quality Authentic Peruvian Food!Super flavorful cooked to perfection.I love the savory flavors one gets with just one bite!I highly recommend this Peruvian Restaurant.Prices are super reasonable not expensive at all.People who are saying it’s expensive clearly don’t eat at high end restaurants because this is nothing compared to an Italian or French restaurant.The staff here are super friendly.When they’re under staffed the food may take a little while but I come here for amazing food served properly not fast."

"Elm definitely seems to be one of the go-to spots in New Canaan! It was super busy there even for a Wednesday night when we went. They have a great cocktail selection, and all of the food we had was fresh and tasty. Some of our favorites were the bacon wrapped dates and the veal. All of the menu choices were great for the summer. Because the restaurant is on the smaller side inside, it did get noisy pretty fast, but it seemed like a community-oriented spot where the locals knew each other well."

"My wife and I were highly disappointed with the service and food at Back End. We ordered 2 different tacos to start. They were both okay. The Baja fish was so small that I could barely tell that I was eating a fish taco. All I could taste was the toppings. There was nothing special about them. Then we ordered pork carnitas and skirt steak for our mains. We forgot to ask to change the corn tortillas to flour tortillas until the food came. Our bad. So we asked the server if it was okay to get some flour tortillas. Didn't think it was that big of an ask. The server went back to the kitchen and went to the head chef I assume and told him our request, and I could not believe the reaction he gave. They have an open kitchen so I could see right in. The chef threw his hands up and started cursing. He then literally stared me down with a look of disgust. All because we asked to change corn tortillas to flour tortillas... How unprofessional! If you have an open kitchen at least know that you're being watched and be professional. If the food was any good, we probably would have felt a little better but the pork carnitas was so hard that I couldn't even finish it. We should have said something about the pork but we decided not to. Who knows what the chef would have done if we told him he overcooked his pork. I hate to leave bad reviews but I think people should know the type of service they'd be getting."

"We are locals and frequent customers in this restaurant, but last night our family has an order about approx. 45 minutes in advance for only two items placed: a few tacos and some buffalo wings. Upon arrival, the staff seemed to do nothing, and only the preparation of our order began on our arrival, although it was placed almost an hour in advance. When we waited for our order to be prepared, we noticed that the employee who made the food did not wear a mask and coughed without capturing his mouth towards our food. After all that we go home to find that our wings have no sauce on them? They were just simple wings, despite the fact that we clearly ordered buffalo wings and in fact, the only item on your menu is buffalo wing (not simple wings or other flavors), so it was very clear that the staff did not make their work right and has our food without regard to what was clearly ordered or for what on the menu. Due to the lack of proper customer care and poor hygiene practices, we will not come back or recommend other locals to order food from here if you appreciate basic hygiene practices."
