"One of my favorite restaurants in Boston for sure. Location can't be beat, stroll and christmas shop on Newbury and Boylston, then head to Solas to end an evening date in a great Irish-themed restaurant that looks great and eats even better. A restaurant owner in Spain once told me that service and decor are all critical parts of a good restaurant, not just the kitchen. Solas scores a 100% on all counts, it is a great place to eat and has a bar that I like to challenge with drinks unheard, and they always know what to do. When in Boston, head to Back Bay and definitely put Solas in the agenda, you will be happy you did. Cheers!"

"Eat pretty good. for appetizers and suppe (a light lunch.) the suppen were excellent, clam chowder and french wobble. the crimped bark rolls left a little to wish, but were okay. the atmosphere and the service were excellent! we would definitely go to dinner again!"
