"Never judge a book by its cover.We tasted almost every restaurant to place order for our daughter's wedding. This place is not an attraction but if you are a foody, and enjoy good authentic taste, this place is your all time fav.You need to place an order and take food.We placed order for 4 days for our guests. We ordered lunch and dinners and almost ordered everything from them. I kid you not, everything we ordered from them tasted so good that we didnt even like our main event dinner which was from Jimmy's plano. I believe our standard got so high after tasting lahori that we just didnt like Jimmy's at all.We had ordered Seekh Kababs, Rice, Chicken karahi, Mutton Karahi, Chicken Karara, Kheer, Mix Daal (surprisingly Daal was really good), Haleem, Halwa Puri nashta, Choley, Aalo, Halwa, chicken Qeema. All of these items were either 1 full tray or 2 trays."

"Came across this place on Google one day. Would definitely say it was worth it. The food is amazing, probably one of the best Indian food in Dallas. The Price and quantity is reasonable. We also went there for their mother's day buffet and they had a great option for vegetarians and non vegetarians. If you love Indian food you must try this place."

"This was our first time going here and had heard mixed reviews . Then the proximity to home, and the fact that they?re open till 11 was a major factor visit the place. It?s right off Hwy 121 and has a warm and cozy ambience, that quickly grows on you. The lady who seemed like the owner told us that we can order using the QR codes or we could just take her help. We chose the ?Human? approach : We ordered the Tandoori Aloo for starters, along with Dahi Puri, Papdi Chaat,Thayir Vada and the Schezwan Noodles. The BBQ aloo was in two flavors Mint and Garlic, we chose garlic ! The platter came with grilled potatoes , onions and green peppers. The potatoes were boiled just right and the flavor had the perfectchar and also an amazing garlicky flavor. Definitely hit the spot. The chaat items dahi sev Puri and pappu chaat were customized to our taste with sweet chutney and the lack there of as requested. Surely matched the typical indian streetfood vibe???????? The Dahi vada Thayir vada was in a beautiful leaf plate, with 4 small medhu vadas that were perfectly soft, easy to cut with a spoon and just like in south India, dunked in a pleasantly seasoned yogurt pool topped withcilantro ! The flavor transported you directly to the streets of Chennai ???? The last one, and the highlight of the food fare, Schezwan Noodles, the ultimate Indo Chinese dish was laden with sautéed onions, green and red peppers andsmothered with schrzwan sauce that was spicy and full of authentic (maybe a pun bcos, Indo Chinese isn?t really a formal cuisine, but is a very popular variant in India . So if you?re at Sankalp, definitely explore the Indo Chinese optionsas I think you won?t be disappointed . Overall an amazing place for a family meet up, couples retreat or just a bachelor boys hangout, Sankalp hits the high notes on Flavor, Ambience and Service! So what?re you waiting for , just go aheadand splurge already !"
