"Nice location and decor. Food could be better. Our family makes a point of going to indian restaurant wherever we go. We found the food was a bit bland and westernized. Maybe it is good for the occasional indian food connisuer, but not authentic. We had 5 guests and all our sauces tasted the same. We will try a different place next time"

"Sizzling Tandoor is a hidden gem in the heart of Victoria. All of our food and service was of top quality during our recent visit there. Our server was a delight, and helpfully guided us to choose a delicious Mango Curry, one of over ten available. The Tandoori Chicken was moist and succulent. We will be returning when we next visit Victoria!"

"Oh man this one pains me,,,,,, My wife and I have been here several times before. We discovered this restaurant watching a food TV program and fell in love with their Momos simply amazing. With concert tickets in hand and the restaurant steps away...we had made a reservation at pm for two.. Show time pm. We had a special bottle of wine to have with our dinner and paying the corkage charge was not a problem, But when we were seated and asked for a cork screw........well the fun started. We asked for lemon with our water and explained about the special wine....no problem.....we then asked for two wine glasses (need we ask) and if the server would be kind enough to open the bottle as the clock was ticking...... During the min wait for a cork screw our server looked after two other patrons, and suggested we place our order, to which I replied we would d like to have a glass of wine before our meal The server went off to look some more for the cork screw. With the concert looming, my wife and I said we were leaving and walked around down town Victoria to find a beer and some deep fried appies (oh yea raw!)prior to show time. At no time did the server apologize, offer a small gift certificate for a future visit, or show any compassion for the incident. An amazing lack of customer service, and as I am In the hospitality business I was amazed by the conduct of this establishment. With everything that is going on in the world we live in. you need to step up your customer service game if you are going to survive. As for now.....My wife and I have no reason to go back. My recommendation to you is to by a cork screw to save the meal charge. So Sad."

"Our first time here and we might try it again but not on a Saturday evening. They couldn't find enough menus. There was no place to hang our coats. We waited over an hour for our food. That said, the food was excellent the veggie pakoras outstanding, the paneer tandoori terrific. Limited beer on tap but good local choices. And quite affordable. We might try take out next time."

"The reason I give 1 star is because the portion of butter chicken was very small, few pieces of chicken and sauce and on top of that we did not receive any rice x2. Not worth $36. We were so disappointed because we were so hungry after ordering and it's a shame because the flavor was actually quite good but overall the experience is 1 star because after I called Sizzling Tandoor to inform them of their mistake they did not offer proper delivery or a full refund."
