"Een wandeling vanuit Oberstdorf naar het Oytal-Haus is aan te bevelen. Ongeveer 6 kilometer lopen door een prachtig landschap en aan het eind in het Oytal-Haus verrast worden met een mooie zit en een prachtige kijk op de bergen. Audenthieke gerechten. De kaart is ten opzichte van voorgaande jaren veranderd dor de komst van een nieuwe eigenaar. Jammer, want de overheerlijke forel is van de kaart verdwenen evenals de rei koekjes met gerookte zalm. Dat waren toch toppers voor een lekkere lunch. In de zomer kun je op de autoped terug naar Oberstdorf steppen. In de winter kan vanuit Oberstdorf het Oytal-Haus ook bezocht worden door plaats te nemen in een slee voortgetrokken door paarden."
