"It is a delicious hat right at the top of a beautiful cozy valley, trees, small river, mountains in a wide distance. In winter it is always full of snow and a cross-country trail is all around. Beautiful landscape from the open terrace, inside... woody walls and warm atmosphere (they also have a few rooms). Food is Bavarian and it is delicious, lentils or goulash soups, roasted pork, late zle, salads, fantastic “Kaiserschmarrn” and much more. They also sell a delicious country bread, cheese and some other homemade mountain products. The place is only 10 minutes from a beautiful walk over the Spitzingsee, at 1,200 meters. Low prices."

"The food is great. Even if it is self-service. On the other hand it is extremely busy and it was hard to get a seat (winter). I think it will be less in the summer, there are places outside. It's okay. Great food... with great view."

"Well what can I say...after seeing the reviews on Trip Advisor was looking forward to eating here but was sadly underwhelmed, it may have been a one off but wasnt what it was described as...we had the platter for 2 which looked amazing when it came and looked enormous but didnt live up to the way it looked, firstly its made to look bigger than it is as meat is piled on top of chips and potato dumplings and platter for 2 would have expected 2 of everything to taste, only 1 chicken drumstick and 1 bit of some other kind of meat, so certainly not for 2!! sadly the meat was chewy too and only luke warm, the only thing hot was the ratatouille...and seen others mentioning free schnapps with their bill ...never seen that either, ate quickly and left as soon as possible...."
