"Went out for a quiet night with friends who live in the area. Sat outside which was lovely and urban but still quiet on the corner of Dundas but up the side street. Food was good and I’d definitely go back (especially if I...lived in the area) but nothing hit the ‘memorable’ level though we certainly tried a number of their top items. Will say the caccio e pepe was the best item though mostly because the pasta consistency was perfect (sauce Service was friendly but efficiency : speed. Lots of empty glasses passed by etc..."

"The place , like many others during Covid,was empty. What wasn’t like the others , was the attempt to impress the customers , so that they would return . This Hungarian food fare was without taste! The schnitzel was dry , the cabbage rolls were...without flavor and the goulash was ...water with color. Even the air conditioning was lacking ."

"Delicious food and great atmosphere. Here for Winterlicious and the menu was really nice and had some of their most popular dishes, as well as a few special. All staff were friendly and welcoming, we were well looked after. Recommended to sit at the cooking table when you can, was really cool to see that they cook your dishes for you."

"I was unexpectedly surprised by the delicious food that chef Anna whipped up. Walking in I expected your typical pub food but that was far from what I got. The breaded mushroom dish coupled with spinach salad with dill and citrus dressing and summer fruits was to say the least very satisfying. I don't like to eat to many carbs in one sitting and most restaurants tend to load your plate up with nothing but carbs. This dish was filling and delicious and I didn't feel so guilty afterwards. The breaded mushrooms didn't have that strong taste of flour that I'm normally used to; they were cooked perfectly to the T. The salad with freshly cut mango, blueberries and strawberries was delightful. As if the food wasn't good enough but the service is even better! Ana is such a sweetheart in person but hardcore in the kitchen! The waitress Claudia was very accommodating and extremely friendly. I'm very impressed with this restaurant and highly recommend it!"

"There were 4 of us for dinner. 3 of us ordered the cable dinner. The portion was quite large, the fish was boiled over, the vegetables were also boiled and cold. There was a ton of bone in the fish. The service was pretty good....The olive grove was the best part of the meal. I won't return."

"I went for the Weiner (veal) schnitzel and the chicken paprikash with a side of coleslaw and beets. The schnitzel was tasty and crunchy. The paprikash was honestly just good, kind of like a better Swiss chalet. Takeout came with bread and butter. The guy at the front was very friendly. Homestyle Hungarian food at affordable prices. The portions were good too."

"BEST Most Authentic tasting Pupusas!!!. The BEST and most authentic tasting pupusas I've had in a very long while, including the pork, cheese, bean etc pupusas they were all incredible! The staff at el pulgarcito are super friendly, kind, and humble. The prices are quite reasonable especially given the fair and filling portion sizes. My only critique is with respect to the tamales which I personally found rather dry as what appeared to be a result of reheating. Nonetheless, this is my go to place when I'm the mood for pupusas. I've not tried many places elsewhere though, I'm not certain there's any need to do so."
