"The service was non-existent. The waitresses preferred to chat at the bar than to look after the customers. The dim sums were soggy and mushy. The schnitzel was dry and nearly burnt. And too top it all we we told in the beginning that they ran out of normal fries, as if they buy them in cash and carry. Definitely went downhill"

"A well educated and well mannered man like my parents wanted me to be, would remain very polite and politicaly correct when expressing how good and tasty the "palais breton" I had at Beau-Rivage's Atrium lobby bar on this gloomy sunday in Geneva, was! But, excuse my french, when that liquid caramel that tasted like a deluxe toffee slipped through my sensitive palate and found its way through my belly, only one word came out from my mouth : "fichtre ! Sacré nom de nom ! Mon Dieu,c'est trop bon!" And then Alberto, the bar tenore, made me this amazing hot cocktail named "chic choc" made from rum, chocolate, orange juice, raspberries, raspberries liqueur, liquid cream and mint; well, What to say? Here i have to shut my mouth up so that i won't shock you with my french: It was warm, divine, well balanced, sensual, surprising, delightful...I always feel welcome in the lobby bar. Madame Sophie always welcomes me with warmth and regards, smiling at me and making me feel at home.It always feels nice to feel that people are sincerely happy to see you.What a great end of afternoon in the Beau-Rivage's Atrium lobby bar: Flickering candles, porphyry marble tables, live piano music played by Marek... All these little things that make my mind drift away on waves of nostalgy and happiness...No wonder I always come back!"
