"I really like the nice soft music! The food was very good with good quality ingredients : I felt that the portion was a bit too small though"

"I went here in January where I had the vegan option only available for veganuary. I had the Tempura F-ish Bang Yaki-imo, who was pretty good. The sauce went well with the broken fish"

"The best sushi we had ever! Me and my husband became addicted to their sushi and we are ordering every Saturday since we find it. Big portions, big platters, fresh all the time, good price and nice owners. We love this tiny place and we recommend it to everyone!"

"Hi, myself and two friends dined here last week, we had booked a table and arrived promptly and was sat on a table downstairs. On arrival myself and my friends noticed a strong smell of sewage. The smell wasn’t as bad at our table but...it was soon replaced by the smell of burning! My friend hasn’t noticed the small fan heater that had been placed on the floor behind our table and he had put his jacket over the back of the chair. The heater slowly proceeded to burn his jacket! We ordered the menu where the chef could pick and named our likes and dislikes. I specified I couldn’t eat raw fish or raw undercooked meat as I am pregnant. The dishes slowly began to appear but I couldn’t help but notice the rest of the tables were getting exactly the same so not exactly bespoke to our taste! One course was salmon which would have been fine if it was cooked all the way through! I know that salmon can be cooked so it’s on the rarer side but when you specify this is a risk to your baby I feel at least my one should have been cooked a bit more. Same with the venison. The dumplings were good but didn’t understand why everything was covered in cheese! Really doesn’t scream Japanese to me at all. It’s more like Japanese food for the British market. Not authentic Japanese. Just before we left I used the bathroom upstairs. The smell of sewage in the stair well was really over powering! Glad we weren’t sitting near here or upstairs Visited this restaurant due to it coming recommended by a friend but was left disappointed. I really hope you get the sewage problem sorted out and it would be helpful if you actually listened to the customers likes dislikes and not just serve everybody the same dishes!"
