"Hands down one of the best hibachi experiences I’ve had. We had the intentions of going to Benihana but they were full so we tried this place. What a happy coincidence. I won’t be going anywhere else but here. Kayzee was our chef and he was hilarious and really sweet to our toddler. Our waitress was really sweet to our infant. GIVE THIS PLACE A CHANCE!!!"

"It's kind of meaningless to call a circulating sushi restaurant if the owner won't fix the belt? We showed up trying the food and the food itself was fine. The sushi rice had a strange taste. The atmosphere is very empty and we felt weird. The decor is beautiful, but a sushi belt restaurant without sushi belts? No thanks"

"This restaurant is one of those places that you could easily overlook, but shouldn't. I had the lo mien beef. It came with a choice of fried or steamed rice(I opted for the fried) and two pot stickers. The customer service was decent, if not a little above average, the atmosphere was laid back and the food got out very fast.The real star is the food itself. Everything was steaming hot and fresh. Noodles were perfectly cooked, as was the rice and pot stickers. Very flavorful but not too salty, which is a plus. The portion size was almost too much for me to finish in a single sitting, which is another plus.I will most definitely be back and I'll have to get more pot stickers next time because those things were seriously good!"

"3.5 stars A surprising find of what looks like a dive bar serving pretty good meals to locals and travelers. We had the Korean beef ribs, pizzas, salad, chicken wings and everything was yummier than expected. The cocktail I ordered was dismal though, the Gummy Bear tasted like cough syrup. Avoid! The wait staff is friendly and fairly efficient, although seemed a bit spaced out at times. Overall, a surprising find!"

"Never again. they have good food. there were many. once dripping water from the hanging plants on our table. once bloomed fleee around the hanging plants. I've still gone. but the murderer was. on Monday to midday, they said no lunch specialties. only dinner menu. all lunches were available, but only at higher dinner prices. Why? I didn't have to ask. afn (alaska federation of natives) was in the city. kumagoro has visited our guests."

"I went to yamaya tonight to eat. I had the shrimp tempura udon and it was by far the best udon I had. raised on a Japanese household I have quite high expectations of Japanese food and they were more than fulfilled. it's a little quiet location, it was nice to chat with the owner (I didn't have his name sad to ask I forgot). he cared for eating and it turned out very well. I'll be back in a definitiv when I get back through anchorage."
