"I've been coming to Sushi Tozai since they opened, which is quite a few years now. Their friendly service and consistently high-quality sushi keep me coming back. And while I can't speak to their non-sushi entrees as I've never had them, their appetizers like miso soup and gyoza are top notch. The interior is so cozy and inviting, too. It makes the experience that much more fun. As for the drink selection: I don't know much about sake, but I've never had one here that I didn't like. I'll keep coming back as long as they stay open. I really can't say enough good things about this place."

"1/2 star/ I feel d I tipped/ Be prepared to be disappointed. Zhang tries to impress you with a complimentary soup and a small plate of fried crab-sticks as soon as you 're sat, both of which set the tone for what 's to be expected...mediocracy incompetence. Don 't do what I did and ask the waitress what she recommends. I asked her what 's the most popular roll and ended up ordering the hot sushi roll Hwy 17 . I should have taken an Exit at this point, and ordered something simple like a nigiri sushi. The Hwy 17 roll reminded me of a what a bear vomits after eating a bad river salmon on a hot day. It looked like a fried flat tongue with cream cheese oozing out, that 's it. Nothing about this roll had even a hint of being sushi. I didn 't make it past the third sushi slice and tried to fill up by eating and my iceberg salad with flavorless ginger dressing. Big surprise, I didn 't finish the salad either...So enough about the food, I will not be returning and hope you will pass and save your money for something better like gas station sushi! I was there 19 March 2022."

"OMG!!! So good. I have to drive from Belfast, but it's worth it. I used to live in the SF Bay Area, so I know sushi. This place is unique in its location, and you just won't find better Japanese cuisine anywhere. Prove me wrong! Lol. I can't wait till my next trip south. By the way, I had my first experience with bubble tea! So much fun. I see why it's such a thing with kids!"
