"Good -Good Japanese food. -Nice clean. -Friendly staff. -All manu been changed in 2018. -Kids manu is the best!!! -They open between 1100 and 2100. But there is meal break between 1600 and 1700 which is PRETTY FLEXIBLE!!! Bad. -It was 5 stars for me before. But they changed all menus in 2018. I am feeling that price went up and less portion. But most of menus have more options to choose which it may cause you extra pay. -Small inside. Very busy between 1200 and 1300."

"Sometimes it's out of control to think what we should have during lunch breaks. Today have a nice new attempt to eat in Korean cuisine and try the stone bowl bimbap, taste is good and fresh vege in it and free miso soup. It costs only 15.50 Aud."

"The dish is a bit more expensive than average Asian or noodle restaurants, but the ingredients are also fresher. I ordered a vegetarian stir fried noodle, the vegetables were fresh in colour and taste. Food was served fast."

"We have always enjoyed both lunch, where the lunch boxes are very tasty and good value, and dinner where the a la carte menu is terrific. Today we had the tempura udon soup and the chicken Katsu lunch boxes and both were great. The udon soup is a winter special and it was great. Highly recommend it.We love this restaurant and think that the lunch boxes are very good value."

"I had avoided this place for a while in Canberra because normally the quality of fish n chips around the city is quite bad, but this place has game, I ordered the Calamari n chips it also came with a salad and spicy aloli all very fresh and delicious. Prawns nice. Good warm food for cold Canberra"

"Shogun was a nice diversion from the regular, being Japanese. When we arrived there were not many people so I was a little apprehensive about eating here, however it filled up fairly quickly and considering it is upstairs with no street frontage, that says something! The food was very good but not exceptional - if you are looking for culinary diversion by all means this is it but don't go for a special occasion."

"We have our Dine-in meal during the Covid periods (with reduced table capacity and personal registered diners for contact recording) with the venue and personal is bright and cheerful. the vegetarian burger with the Japanese croquette can be made on request vegan I did not make that clear enough when I ordered, so came my with cheese that I decided to eat instead of let food go to waste and is available as meal with waffleries and salat. the vegan gyoza were tasty, like the miso roasted pumpkin dish, although I personally prefer the pumpkin a little more cooked and softer. I really wanted to have the vegan soft servier or sunk, but I don't think it was offered during the Covid times (although I didn't ask), as the soft serve machine behind the theke was not ready for operation and it wasn't on the in-store menu, even if shown online."
