"This is a very nice spot for a taste of a variety of Japanese dishes. The food was very fresh and we enjoyed the wide variety of 'tapas style dishes'. The only problem is the portions are so small and for the price you pay you can barely afford a meal that would completely fill you up. There were four of us we had around 10 dishes to share, with sake and desert the bill came to 160+$ and was still very hungry. Something to just keep in mind. Other than that it was a nice experience."

"This was my 2nd time and I loved it even more. Took the whole family for my sister's birthday. We had the pizza that was out of this world, great crust. Gnocchi, ravioli ... everything is so fresh and delicious. John, the owner, is a real gentleman and knows how to take care of his customers and the server we had that evening. I never felt rushed and could just enjoy the atmosphere and the great food. I highly recommend this restaurant. We look forward to a reunion."

"This place could certainly turn away some people by its outside appearance and the interior design but they do pump out really delicious food probably best for take out or after the bar diners : The dumplings, bulgogi on rice (watch out they really mean spicy and bulgogi pizza are favourites!"

"I have eaten at Mikado numerous times. Most recently a couple of weeks ago. The food is excellent, always very fresh, and perfectly prepared. I must say that the restaurant is a bit on the large side for me, a bit too big. I personally like a sushi spot that is smaller, more quaint. Having said that you will never be disappointed with the food, I do find it on the pricey side though."

"Like the title says. Food was good, new building, nice staff, prices WAY too high. location is on the south side of town, quite a ways away from where we were. The interior is small and awkward. The staff was nice and the food was decent but it was definitely not the best mango sushi I have ever had, The boyfriend got sashimi and liked it but it was a bit bland. The portions were quite large and impressive. I won't be back. Didn't stand out to me at all but just didn't have that "bring you back" vibe."

"Great food and reasonable prices. We saw everyone ordering Karaage Chicken but it wasn’t all that great, way larger pieces of chicken than I typically enjoy, but the pressed sushi was great. Definitely worth a visit. The only other knock I have is that when it gets really busy some of the tables are in some pretty high traffic areas. Not much that the restaurant can do about this but be wary if you were hoping for a quiet night out."
