"Came in for the sashimi on a saturday night and asked the waiter if the sashimi was good tonight. He said it definitely was, and so i ordered a spicy tuna sashimi for an appetizer and the uni don as my main. The spicy tuna...was cut so badly that it tasted like leftover fish trim and the uni don was extremely watery. When i asked about the lapse in quality the server told me that the sushi chef had the day off and it was the reliever preparing it tonight. THEN WHY did he tell me it was a good night to have sushi. Anything to sell quickly expiring product i suppose. To top it all off, my girlfriends chawan mushi (a steamed savory custard soup) arrived after the meal was done. Apparently it takes 30 minutes to steam a chawan mushi, a fact that was left out as we ordered it. I asked that it be taken away as we were done eating, but our waiter pretty much begged us to take it as it would be coming out of his own paycheck. Guilted into a soup, thats always fun. My girlfriend had the katsu curry and that, to be fair, was pretty good. When the bill arrived, not a word was said about the bad sushi, uni don or soup. The whole experience was the opposite of a relaxing japanese dinner, and left a bad taste in my mouth. I'll never come back here for sure and i reccomend others to do the same."

"A little pricey but you do get what you pay for. They have one of the best chirashi bowls in the city (as long as all ingredients are available that day). The Uni is particularly fresh and I really enjoy it here versus most other Japanese places. Service is pretty decent but don't be afraid to use the call button to get assistance when dining outside or upstairs."

"I wasn't expecting much of this ramen joint since I see it's often empty and their ramen and other food choices are quite expensive . I finally tried it, and yes, it lived up to my expectation. for a bowl of their regular(large size and for the junior ones. The broth is salty, though the noodles is good, while the charsiu is AS THIN AS BACON. for a bacon strip?!! Overall, it's my worst ramen experience so far. Definitely not going back."
